Articles for Sweet Times may be submitted forconsideration for publication by placing them in thebox at the clubhouse. We must have your nameand phone number, in case we have questions.The deadline is the 22nd of every month.

If you would like to have your anniversaryincluded in Sweet Times, we will need to know themonth, day, and how many years you arecelebrating. We need this information before thedeadline for the issue in which it should appear. Asa reminder, we do not retain anniversary dates fromyear to year, so you will need to submit the date tous each year.

Changes or items for the calendar should besubmitted by whoever is in charge of that event.

We do keep a listing of birthdays, but if yours isnot already included, we need the month and dayonly.Thank you.

SOCIAL CLUB MEETINGSThere will be no social club meetings during the months of June, July and August. The meetings will

resume on the 2nd Wednesday in September.Jeannette L'Heureux has graciously volunteered to chair a clean up committee for all Social Club events.

SECURITY UPDATE

Sweetwater Security is currently being captained by Russell & Jawna Reints of155 Victoria Drive. We are hoping to make some subtle, but important changes toour usefulness in the community. We have begun nightly patrols of the lake andother spots in the community to look for suspicious activities. We are locking theClubhouse and checking the pool, covering the hot tub and checking the exerciseroom for lights, fans and TV's left on. We check the front gate cameras for properoperation as well as checking the Pro Shop and Maintenance yard for securelocks. We also patrol the parking lot looking for unauthorized vehicles parkedovernight.

We are going to be giving out refrigerator magnets for your house and laminatedbusiness cards for your golf cart with the security phone number, with the hope thatif you see any suspicious persons, vehicles or solicitors you will report it to thesecurity officer on duty that day. We want your input to help us make Sweetwater asafe and orderly community. Please put the magnet and card in the proper spotand feel free to call.

We also want to remind you to get Sweetwater ID decals and place them in thedriver's side lower corner of your vehicle. This will identify you as a Sweetwaterresident. We would like everyone's participation in this program to make it mosteffective. Please be community minded and do your part. The office, Cheryl Wald,Jawna and I have the decals. Any questions or concerns please feel free to contactRussell at 815-540-7727. If you are interested in joining the security team let usknow.
