Meeting of Indian CEOs with Visiting Egyptian President

A business meeting of select Indian CEOs led by Vijay Sankar met the visiting President of the Republic of Egypt, Mr Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, at Hotel ITC Maurya, Delhi, on 1 September 2016.

The meeting, which lasted almost an hour and a half, was attended by eight CEOs from the Indian side other than Vijay Sankar, Deputy Chairman of The Sanmar Group, and PS Jayaraman, Chairman of TCI Sanmar Chemicals, CK Dhanuka, Vice Chairman, South Asian Petrochem, Madhu Kannan, Group Head-Business

Development and Board Member, Tata Sons, Sudarshan Venu, Joint Managing Director, TVS Motor Company, Santrupt Misra, CEO-Carbon Black Business and Director-Group Human Resources, Aditya Birla Management Corporation, Vikramjit Singh Sahney, Managing Director, Sun International, and Ashok Chaturvedi, Chairman-UFLEX.

Eight CEOs from the Egyptian side were also part of this meeting, along with three Egyptian ministers (Trade & Industry, Foreign, and Investment).
