INTRODUCTIONThe Megalodon is a shark that lived approximately 28 to 1.5 million years ago.
Megalodon means “Giant Tooth”, do you know why?
It’s teeth were the size of a human hand!
APPEARANCE
• The megalodon was very similar to the great white shark but the megalodon was 3 times longer and 20 times heavier.
• The megalodon’s jaws can grow up to 50 feet. A small megalodon weighs 53-65 ton’s but scientist only have fossils so they don’t have exact measurements and the megalodons teeth grow up to 1.8 centimetres.
HABITAT
• The megalodon shark is found all over the world for example it’s fossils have been found in New Zealand, South and North America, Africa so basically the pacific ocean.
DIET
• The megalodon basically every type of whale. The megalodon would be the most biggest and fierce shark and animal in the world.
CONCLUSION• I have found out a lot about the Megalodon shark and
my favourite piece of information was that the Megladon shark was 3 times longer than the great white shark and 20 times heavier.
