Cherrapunjee/ Sohra

• The second rainiest place in the world. • On the border of India and Bangladesh. • British changed name to Cherrapunjee

from Sohra. • 4,500ft above sea level.

Other places to visit

Nohkalikai falls• One of the tallest waterfalls

in India at 1100 ft. Legend says that a woman named Ka Likai threw herself off the waterfall.

Krem Mawmluh • The cave has a five-river

way with amazing proportions. With a length of 4,503 m, it is the 4th longest cave in India.
