MELANIE MOOREBVM&S, MRCVS, DACVR-RODr. Melanie Moore became a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2015 after attending veterinary school

at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. She then completed a Rotating Internship with Regional Veterinary Referral Center in Springfield, Virginia and her Radiation Oncology Residency with University of Missouri. Dr. Moore is excited to be part of an Integrated Oncology service that focuses on maintaining patient quality of life. She believes in therapy that is tailored not only to the patient’s tumor type, but also to preserving quality of life, always taking the whole family's needs into consideration.

Carissa Norquest received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from The Ohio State University in 2011 and her DVM from Auburn

University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. She went onto a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Internship at the University of Missouri and was able to continue her specialty training through a Medical Oncology Residency with her Mizzou family. Dr. Norquest joined the Care Center Oncology team in August of 2020, as our comprehensive, integrative approach to veterinary oncology captured her attention. Within Oncology, Dr. Norquest’s special interests have been centered around managing cancer bone pain and nonsurgical options for dogs with appendicular osteosarcoma.

After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Wayne State University, Dr. Corrine Camero went on to attend The Ohio State

University and obtained her DVM. Following her studies at OSU, she completed a Rotating Internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at BluePearl Michigan, where she remained for three years as a Senior Emergency Clinician. Dr. Camero completed her Residency in Medical Oncology at the University of Illinois. She now practices medical oncology with a focus on client communication and patient quality of life and loves working closely with the Care Center team.
