Young AmbassadorsCelebrating their 45th year, the BYU Young Ambassadors have literally circled the globe. Since their premier performance at Expo ’70 in Osaka, Japan, they have per-formed in major concert halls, orphanages, government palaces, and hospitals in more than 60 countries. The Young Ambassa-dors’ show Heartsongs: Melodies of Love is a fast-paced musical revue of contempo-rary sounds and choreography. The Young Ambassadors are produced by the School of Music in the College of Fine Arts and Communications at Brigham Young Uni-versity in Provo, Utah.

Brigham Young UniversityIntensive learning in a stimulating set-ting—nurturing the mind, body, and spirit—is central to the mission of Brigham Young University. Cradled between the Rocky Mountains and Utah Lake, BYU was founded in 1875 by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The approximately 30,000 full-time stu-dents who attend BYU come from all 50 states and more than 100 countries, with about 70 percent coming from outside Utah. All major races and religions are rep-resented on campus. BYU’s faculty num-ber around 1,600. The university offers about 180 bachelor’s degrees, more than 60 master’s degrees, and some 25 doctoral degrees, including a juris doctor.
