It has been very unfortunate that we needed to cancel our Open Combined Training event this year, we had hoped that we could have re-arranged it, but it was difficult to find a ’free’ weekend, it is always a pleasure to invite many non-members to Tremains, so we can show off our excellent equipment! The good news was that the ponies at Dimland’s were announced clear of what is a very nasty infection in Strangles, so we did manage to move our members Summer Show and was re-warded with a lovely sunny day—the first event this year, where we did not get a bit wet! One thing that has been disappointing this season, is the lack of ‘senior’ members partici-pating at the shows, we have split a lot of classes in the schedule to encourage you, and would like to be able to split the jumping classes, but so far this year have been unable to do so—come on seniors where have you all gone, and what do we need to do to get you back?

Ring 1 – Showing Classes – 10.00 am 1. Best Turned Out Senior (over 16yrs) (Rosettes for all entries in this class & trophy to winner)
2. Best Turned Out Junior (16yrs and under) (Rosettes for all entries in this class & trophy to winner)
3. Hunter Type (Class will be split appropriately if numbers permit)
4. Best Riding Club Horse or Pony
5. Best Cob Type
6. Mountain and Moorland (Championship for 1st and 2nd place in classes 3, 4, 5 & 6 Trophy to Champion & Rosette
7. Biggest Bum 8. Neatest & Cleanest 9. Pony with the prettiest face 10. Pony with best Trot. 11. Pony the judge would most like to take home. (Rosettes for all entries in this class)
(Points Championship in classes 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 trophy to Champion & Rosette (1st to 4th qualify for points) Entry Fees £ 2.50 Rosettes 1st to 4th Championship—Champion & Reserve.
Ring 2 – Show Jumping starting at 10.45am (after clear round)
12. Very Novice 2’ (60cm) (Rosettes for all double clears in this class)
13. 2’4” (70cm) Juniors 16yr & Under, Seniors over 16yrs*
14. 2’6” (75 cm) Juniors 16yr & Under, Seniors over 16yrs*
15. 2’8” (80cm) Juniors 16yr & Under, Seniors over 16yrs*
16. 3’ (90cm) * Juniors & Seniors will be split if numbers permit in class 10, 12, 13 & 14
Entry Fees £ 2.50 Rosettes 1st to 4th Trophy in each class
