With a very unique body style and an innovative air system that eliminated any need for macro line, the Luxe started turning heads when first shown during the NPPL’s Huntington Beach event in 2008. The sleek lines and superior aesthetic detailing have made Luxe one of the most iconic markers in production. Like any innovative product, the Luxe tried out a number of features not seen on other markers, eye covers held in place by magnets,magnets, a quick pull release bolt, a talking board to name a few. When the gun was updated for the 1.5 series, some changes were made as to keep the marker from being a more couture piece; a marker that could easily scare a newer player. With the 1.5 the eye covers are no longer held in place solely by magnets, a feature that sometimes dislodged during a game, but the majority of the marker is unchanged. With one ofof the highest resale rates in the industry the Luxe might have a ‘high maintenance’ price tag, coming in at $1,500, but it is worth the investment.
