Merchandise Display
Merchandise display is the arrangement and organization of display materials and merchandise to produce a stimulus that leads to the sell of merchandise and services.
The ways goods are hung, placed on shelves, or otherwise made available to customers .
-Shoulder-out Presentation: The way most garments are hung in home closet with only one side showing from shoulder to bottom.
-Face-forward Presentation: Hanging of clothing with the front fully facing the viewer. This should always be done at entrances and aisles.

Shelving-Flexible easy to maintain. Hanging
Folding-For soft lines can be folded and stacked on shelves or tables- creates high fashion image.
Pegging - Small roads inserting into gondolas or wall systems-can be labour intensive to display/maintain but neat/orderly appearance.
Stacking – For large hard-lines can be stacked on-shelves ,base decks of gondolas or flats –easy to maintain and gives image of high volume and low price.
Dumping – Large quantities of small merchandise can be dumped into baskets or bins – highly effective for soft lines (socks, wash-cloths) or hard-lines( batteries, candy ,grocery products) creates high volume, low cost image.
