Brochures for this months Book club have been sent home this week. Orders are to be returned to
the school office with correct money by Friday 24 March.
Book Review Information
As a part of our school’s library program, your child will present a few book reviews throughout this year. This is a great way to share what amazing resources we have in the library. Two students will be chosen each week to do a book review on the story that they borrowed from the library. They are to return the book the following week (on their library day) to share it with their class. All you need to do is help your child remem-ber the title, author, illustrator, what the book is about, their favourite part of the story, and what they would rate it out of 10. You might like to listen to them read it or read it to them.
Star Struck
Congratulations to both of our dance groups. The Star Struck Dance group and the Aboriginal

Gymnastics
During Term 2, MPS will be participating in a K-6, whole school Gymnastics program. The program will focus on both strength and skills training incorporating all of the key fundamental movement skills. We have been lucky enough to secure the program through the Activated group who have many years of experience in delivering gymnastic programs to many Department schools. The program supports the PD/H/PE syllabus and provides the opportunity for students to access qualified Gymnastics coaches and skill specific equipment.
The cost of the program will be $40 per student. Please return the permission slip and money to the school office before the end of Term 1.
If payment is not received, your child will not be allowed to participate in the program.
This is a fantastic opportunity and one that we are very pleased to offer in 2017.
