All praise to the Almighty. Slow and

steady wins the race. This is true of our

school which has progressed over the

years quantitatively and qualitatively. It

is a matter of pleasure for me indeed.

Introduction of a platform of new events

even in this period of pandemic has

been the recent feathers in our cap. I

pray to the Almighty God to have more

in the future. Everything should be the

reflection of quality. I am thankful to our

principal, Mr. Subhodip Dey who has

worked tirelessly in this regard and his

team who have spent their every hour in

shaping the future of our students.

It was an honour itself to honour our respected President Mr. Aditya Himatsingka, our academic advisor Mrs. Tapati Singhi, Mr. Dinesh Maheshka, Mr. Rajeev Kant Mishra, Mr. Chinnaraj and other dignitaries who took out their valuable time to be a part of this auspicious ceremony. The program was a grand success with the help of all the teaching and the non- teaching staff under the guidance of our Principal, Mr. Subhodip Dey who spent every hour behind it making sure that the programme went as per the plan.

The best teacher doesn’t give you the answer, they spark within you the desire to find the answer yourself. Every words of appreciation for them would be less. They are the ones who give you the wings to fly and guide you to soar up higher in the sky.

Students had organized a programme for the same which included various dance performances, drama, role-play, songs just to name a few. The programme was a grand success showcasing the efforts of the students and all the others involved under the guidance of our Principal, Mr. Subhodip Dey.

Every new beginning comes from some other beginnings end. We bid farewell to the best one among us, fully conscious of his greatness. He is a man of his words who led his entire life for his students by living a simple life and high thinking. Sanskrit would be impossible to understand without his efforts. His efforts cannot be ignored for he lived for his service throughout his life. We wish him all the best for his life ahead and wish him all the goodness in his life.

Programme

“STRENGTH IS LOOKING BACK AND SEEING WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN THROUGH AND KNOWING YOU WERE STRONG ENOUGH TO MAKE IT THROUGH”

Prevention is better than cure. Cancer Awareness and Screening programme was held at the school on 30th September,2021 in collaboration with the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital, a unit of Tata Memorial Center, Govt. of India. The district officers Dr. Prashant Rahul and Dr. Snehil Sneha from the Preventive Oncology Department briefed the students of early detection and ways to prevent it at any early stage by conducting a few screening tests in the school campus. The program aimed at creating awareness of cancer among the students so that they may contribute to fight against fatal disease of cancer.

The combined effort of the entire team of doctors, staff members and the students under the guidance of The Principal, Mr. SUBHODIP DEY made the program a huge success.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO LEAD AN ACTIVE LIFE, COMBINED WITH HEALTHY FOOD HABITS TO KEEP OURSELVES HEALTHY.

Navyug Vidyalaya celebrated Independence day to remember with pride to the commitment and contribution of the brave individuals who sacrificed their lives for the cause of India. The celebration started with Flag Hoisting followed by the National Anthem. Irrespective of our culture, civilization, caste, creed, religion, the most important and binding factor is our National Flag. The Tricolour symbolizes courage, truth, and prosperity. Our Principal, Mr. Subhodip Dey welcomed the guest to the celebration and delivered the welcome speech. The celebration included a list of performances by the students.

Navyug had experienced this for the first time. The ceremony was a follow up of the Independence Day program which started by the ceremonial lightning of the auspicious lamp. Investiture ceremony is important as it instils the duties and responsibilities of the students. It makes every child who is elected feel proud and embarks on the journey to become leaders of tomorrow. The ceremony was a success with the efforts of the entire Navyug Pariwar headed by our Principal Mr. Subhodip Dey.

TOURNAMENT

Interhouse volleyball tournament was held in the school on 6th &7th October where students got to showcase their talents, blooming in the spirit of sportsmanship. Red House (Akash) won the boys tournament while yellow house took away the trophy for winning the girls tournament. This has indeed raised the school’s sporting profile. The efforts and the contribution put by the entire sports department headed by Mr. Khurram Shoaib and Mr. Chinmay under the guidance of our Principal Mr. Subhodip Dey has raised the standard of the sports.

which was held on 22nd

October,2021 in the school

premises. This is just a stepping

SPORTS ACTIVITIES

Many new sports activities have initiated in the school. Some of them includes-Rope Skipping, Taekwondo, Judo and many others will be initiated as the time permits. NAvyug will not be left behind in any field, it will soar up high in the sky. Every small step will lead to a brighter future. Combined efforts of our team under the leadership of Our Principal, Mr. Subhodip Dey has brought many laurels to our school and will continue to do the same in the coming future.
