We invite you to get to know the results!

From 21st to 24th October, the International Disability Alliance (IDA) and the United Nations Associationto Promote the Rights of People with Disabilities, held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, a conference on theimplementation of the Sustainable Development Goals Post-2015

UNICEF and iiDi accompanied the event with the Youth Meeting “New Voices, New Challenges”

A selection of members from the group Estamos Tod@s en Acción- META, travelled from their countries to represent the voice of young leaders for the Inclusive Development.

We worked with some questions:In which way do the civil society’s organisations relate to the United Nations and with the Sustainable Development Goals?

What opportunities do we have as young people to enhancechanges and participate in the SDG?

What do we mean when we say “Inclusion” and “Inclusive development”? We talked about:

Women and girls with disability

Children and adolescents with disability Information Technology (ICT) and CommunicationIndigenous Peoples and People with Disability.

We proposed ourselves to: Think about dissemination and communication tools for META’s work. Revise the articles 24 and 30 of the Convention (CDPCD) to present them in a young

language. Present the meeting’s outcomes to the participants of the IDA Conference

to implement ICTs in the Rights PromotionWe tried

M.E.T.A - "Movimiento Estamos Todos en Acción” started in Mexico in2013. It is a network formed by and for young people interested inworking for the Inclusive Development.
