Travel on Metro buses is based on the number of sections you travel. A full list of fares is displayed at the front of the bus. If you are travelling on a concession fare please ensure you show the appropriate concession entitlement when boarding.

A Greencard is like a debit card; you top it up with travel credit on any Metro bus (cash only), online or at a Metro agent. When you board a bus the cost of the trip is deducted from your balance. Get your Greencard today by applying online, posting a paper application form or from your local Metro agent.

The Glenorchy to Hobart City corridor is made up of a number of bus routes (see map overleaf) which combine toform a high-frequency service seven days a week. Travellingvia Main Road, New Town Road and Elizabeth Street throughMoonah, New Town and North Hobart, buses are scheduledto operate approximately every:
