Michael Wood, CSCS Chief Fitness Officer, Koko FitClub Michael Wood, CSCS, is a nationally recognized fitness expert and exercise physiologist, leading the development of integrated Koko Smartraining™ strength, cardio and nutrition programs for Koko FitClub, the digital gym. Through his Smartraining™ programs, Michael has trained over 50,000 Koko FitClub members nationwide to achieve their health and fitness goals through proper nutrition and progressive exercise. Koko members currently peform an average of 205,000 Smartraining workouts each month across all clubs Koko FitClub locations, with over 3.5 million strength sessions and 3.8 million cardio sessions completed to date. Michael was a Senior Exercise Physiologist at the Nutrition, Exercise Physiology and Sarcopenia Laboratory at the USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University in Boston. During that time he collaborated on research that studied the effects of exercise on aging, and co-authored 12 scientific research papers and abstracts. Michael has also developed exercise programs that were featured in two books, The 30-Minute Fitness Solution by Joann Manson, MD (Harvard Press, 2001) and Cut Your Cholesterol by David Katz, MD (Reader's Digest, 2003). Michael is working on his first book that is slated for publication in 2015 Boston Magazine "Best of Boston" Personal Trainer Named twice consecutively to Men's Journal Top 100 Trainers list. Michael Wood, CSCS Chief Fitness Officer, Koko FitClub Michael Wood, CSCS, is a nationally recognized fitness expert
