SOPHISTICATED REMOTE TERMINAL UNIT FORSUBSTATION CONTROL, MONITORING, DISTRIBUTED IEDSDATA CONCENTRATION AND GATEWAY COMMUNICATIONWITH SCADAS.
The MiCOM C264-R combines the usual RTUs features withthe benefits of fast Ethernet communication. Its intrinsichigh-performance is further expanded through the modularI/Os acquisition racks. This up to date design helps theuser to simplify the engineering and installation, improvereliability and quality as well as increase efficiency throughspace and cost reductions in wiring, testing, maintenanceand management.
The MiCOM C264-R offers natively an on-board 100MbEthernet communication for SCADA communication, simplemaintenance access and the connection of many I/Osacquisition racks. This is in addition of the serial ports forevery application using multiple standard protocols. Eachport is able to communicate with a protocol includingIEC60870-5-103, IEC 60870-5-101, MODBUS, DNP3.0, orwith a SOE serial printer.
The MiCOM C264-R with high-performance, large capacity, expandable is well adapted for turnkey applications as wellas retrofit installations. MiCOM C264-R is also to beconsidered as a step on the way of Digital Control Systems.
FIELD OF APPLICATION
The MiCOM C264-R modular Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) provides a powerful solution for SCADAcommunication, Sequence of Event Recorder (SER), and can be integrated to digital substationcontrol systems. It is designed for a wide range of applications:
