What is the Imagine Cup?
Imagine a world where technology helps solve the toughest problems.
Compete in the US competition for a shot at the US Finals. Compete in the World Wide competition for chance to represent the US in Sydney, Australia!
Create 1 game for Global Game Jam AND Imagine Cup!

Look to the UN Millennium Goals:
Multi-level , single player, 3D or 2D, XBox360, Windows, or Windows Phone, it’s up to you. Everybody wins with games that solve critical issues.
1 Register at www.imaginecup.us AND www.imaginecup.com, select Game Design, and create your team. Design a project to help ‘solve the world’s toughest problems.’ Use Visual Studio to build an XNA-based or Silverlight-based game.
Submit the following items before the deadlines:
US Finals | April 2012 Present projects to a judging panel, meet recruiters from Microsoft and other tech companies, participate in workshops, and have fun!
WW Finals | July 2012, Australia Submit to the worldwide competition for the chance to go to Australia and represent the US in the Imagine Cup WW Finals
