Designed for those with experience of working in the concrete industry such as; technicians, operatives, batch plant supervisors, sales and distribution staff and concrete mixer operators/drivers, to achieve a formal certificate in recognition of their success in mastering the basic objectives of activities in the concrete industry. Key topics include: concrete constituents, producing, transporting, handling and placing, concrete construction applications, sampling, testing and inspection. The seminar includes a free hard copy of the Concrete Society publication Concrete Practice. Exam registration and administrationThe Stage 1 multi-choice examination is held on Wednesday 5 June 2019 (1.5hrs duration), starting at 11.00hrs at both the Concrete Society offices in Camberley and the Strathclyde University Technology and Innovation Centre, Glasgow. ICT examination registration has an associated fee of £50 (VAT not applicable) via [email protected]

Fee: £110 (Concrete Society members) +VAT or £150 (non-Concrete Society members) +VAT. A 10% discount is available for multiple delegate bookings. An invoice will be issued upon receipt of the booking. At least 3 days’ notice is required for full refund. Late cancellation refund at the discretion of the Society. Space is limited so ensure to book early!
