Fees and Remissions20112012 part-time course fees are fully inclusive of tuition examinations assessment registrationfees and extra materials required for the course if applicable If examination fees increase during thecourse you will be notified by your tutor

Full-time courses including Access to HE and some Full Level 2 and 3 courses will incur a course fee of pound250 for each student over 19 years of age If you qualify for remission of fees see list ofcategories listed under lsquoVocational Coursesrsquo you will pay a reduced fee of pound25

You could be eligible for financial support in your coursethanks to schemes aimed at helping adults study

Free courses

Many of our courses are free to those who qualify for a Government scheme aimed at encouraging andsupporting adults wishing to achieve a Full Level 2 or Full Level 3 qualification

A Full Level 2 qualification is a substantial course whichincludes all NVQ Level 2courses and is equivalent to 5 GCSEs at grade A-C

There are also substantial Level 3 courses such asExtended Diplomas (equivalent to 2 or more A levels) but this normallyapplies to adults aged 19 to 25 If you would like to start a Full Level 3 programme and have not achieved a Level 2 qualification and areaged 25+ please seek advicefrom Fee Remission Staff
