There is no limit to the possible applications of the MIKRON VCE Pro machines. Here is a die forming application that uses a ball end mill for finishing. Due to the high speed of the MIKRON VCE Prospindle of 16,000 min-1, the required cuttingspeeds can be achieved even with small tools.

Side tool changer for still shorternon-productive time. The side-mounted tool changer withintegrated double arm gripper enablesstill faster tool change times to beachieved. All tools are optimally pro-tected since the tool changer is turnedaway from the working area. Further-more, this construction, which is freefrom interfering edges, enables ma-chining of high parts or applicationson one dividing head.
Clean cabin due to outstanding chipmanagementThe spiral conveyor automatically removes the chips. In this way its load is controlled and if overloading occurs, an unblocking cycle is startedautomatically. Massive telescope covers made of sheet steel completelyprotect the three linear axes fromchips and dirt. The cabin design prevents chips from piling up.

The robust belt spindle always hasenough power available for all com-mon machining jobs. With the ISO 50version for the MIKRON VCE 1600 Proeven up to 350 Nm. For drilling, wherethe highest performance is required,the power of modern tools can be fullyexploited. Spindles for universal ma-chining have 10,000 min-1 as standardor 14,000 min-1 as an option.These also offer high torque of 96 toover 200 Nm. For durability, hybridball bearings are exclusively used.No compensation chuck is needed fortapping. The outstanding feature of Mikron

Linear measuring scales (Option)Linear measuring scales guaranteeunvarying accuracy for machining,even in fluctuating temperatures. To get optimal protection from dirt,they are connected to a compressedair supply.

Cooling Spectacular performance with conventional and high-speed milling
Cooling through the spindle, 18 or 42 barThe coolant is guided under highpressure through the work spindle directly to the cutting edges. The advantages are higher cutting speeds,problem-free peck drilling, blind holemilling and extended tool lives (Optional).The supply unit consists of a largemobile coolant tank and can be supplemented with an optionally ob-tainable band filter. The system has 2 reversible filter cartridges for uninterrupted use in production.
Programmed predictabilityTime-consuming and imprecise manual adjustments of the coolantsupply are a thing of the past. Theprogrammable coolant nozzle auto-matically directs the jet after eachtool change exactly to the point of theoperation (Optional).
