Milford High School varsity boys’ basketball team tied a school record with its 17 th straight win, knocking off Clark Montessori by a 48-41 score on Tuesday, January 3. Come out and show your support for the team on Friday night as the Eagles chase the school record for consecutive wins in an Eastern Cincinnati Conference showdown. On February 6, the Eagles will play host to Kings, who have lost just once in the ECC (by Milford on January 6). The game begins at 7:30 p.m. “Flock socks” are being sold through a spirit sale sponsored by the Milford Band Boosters & MHS School Store. Details and an order form can be found under community offerings (flyers) on the district website at www.milfordschools.org . Orders are due by February 25. Scheduling Information: Scheduling for the 2015-2016 school year is quickly approaching. Parents/Guardians can visit the Milford High School website now to review the course selection guide and registration worksheet with their child. Students in grades 9-11 will view presentations in homeroom outlining the scheduling process on February 9, 10 and 11. Teacher sign off day will be Wednesday, February 11. Parents are encouraged to talk to teachers during parent teacher conferences on February 12 and February 18 if they have questions about what classes would be best for their child. The worksheets, signed by a parent, will be due back in homeroom on February 20. The school counselors and department chairpersons will be available in the cafeteria to answer questions for parents on February 12 from 3-6:30PM. Juniors: All juniors will have the opportunity to take the ACT on March 17, 2015 during the school day. The regis-tration for this test date is being completed by the counseling staff so there is nothing that parents need to complete for this registration. College Credit Plus: There will be a parent meeting on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 6:30 PM in the cafeteria at Milford High School for parents interested in the College Credit Plus option. College Credit Plus is replacing the Post Secondary Enrollment Options Program (PSEOP).
