Parade rolls through townStanley Cup visits Basswood farm

NHLer Ron Hextall brought the Stanley Cup to Westman this past week,
including a visit with family and friends at his wife’s family farm near Basswood.

Los Angeles Kings’ Ron Hextall had his private day with the Stanley Cup on Tuesday, July 17th and he de-
cided to bring it back home to Western Manitoba to give back to the community he grew up in. Hextall, vice-presi-dent and assistant general manager of Kings, brought the Stanley Cup to the family farm of Ray Ogibowski Tues-day morning for a private gathering of roughly 50 people from the surrounding area.
