This summer ASP celebrated 50 years of service! White Plains has been a part of this amazing ministry since 1977…this summer was our 42nd year of service! The need for warm, safe and dry housing doesn’t stop in August when the youth summer program ends. White Plains will again be sending an adult group in November…our sixth trip! There is a place on this trip for all skill levels and for both men and women. We will travel to either Jonesville VA or Rainelle WV on Wednesday, November 7 around noon, work Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and travel home on Sunday morning. Please consider joining us as we continue to help eradicate substandard housing in Central Appalachia! David and Alissa Williams are leaving New York, where David has served graduate students at NYU for the past 5 years, and moving to Oxford, England to serve as InterVarsity/Link Missionaries for the next 4 years. David and Alissa will be a missionary team working to plant post-graduate ministry programs at top universities in the U.K. All Sunday School classes, as well as others who do not attend Sunday School, are invited to join David and Alissa in the Sanctuary at 9:45 on Sunday, August 26th to learn more about this vitally strategic ministry to the next generation of global leaders and how you can be a part of it.
