From 9:45 to 10:45 (drop off begins at 9:30) we will connue to have preschool meet together and elementary students will meet together as a large group. From 10:45 to 11:00 there will be a snack me for all children- those being picked up, those being dropped off for the new 11:00-12:00 Sunday School hour, and those who are staying for both hours. Both Sunday School hours will use the Orange curriculum, with the same weekly lesson but different acvies each hour. ———————————————————————————————— A “Leaders Are Learners II” workshop will be held from 8am to noon on Jan. 5 in the CLC. The focus is on “Servant Leadership,” and the keynote speaker is our District Superintendent, Rev. Gray Southern. Additional topics covered include how to use some of our church digital tools and how to conduct effective meetings. All are welcome. ———————————————————————————————— Epiphany Sunday is January 6. Join our celebration of the visit by the Wise Men to the baby Jesus. After our 11:15am Familia service there will be hot chocolate and the traditional “kings' bread.” All are welcome. ———————————————————————————————— Our next Family Promise hosting is January 7-13. With all the busyness of the holidays, we need people to be the welcoming hands and feet of Christ. Please sign up at wpumc.com/familypromise to be a morning or evening van driver, a social host to play with the kids and youth, or an overnight host. In this eight-session Bible study, you will learn how you can have a satisfying, powerful relationship with God through the Holy Spirit. $15 covers the workbook and all supplies.
