    When is the deposit and balance due?

    Full pre-payment of your estimated charges are due no less than fourteen (14) days from the ceremony date. The MGM Resorts Accounting Team will reach out to you directly regarding payment arrangements.

    When do we obtain the marriage license?

    The courthouse is open seven days a week from 8AM to Midnight. A form of photo identification is needed for each person applying, as well as cash, money order, or credit card. You will need to have your marriage license the day of the ceremony, no exceptions. You can go the day before your wedding or up to one year prior. There is no waiting period or blood testing. Our packages include luxury transportation to and from the Regional Justice Center to obtain your marriage license however; you will select the day and time preferred.     Can we make substitutions or change the ceremony package or venue?

    Unfortunately, the ceremony package cannot be altered or changed. The venue canbe changed based on venue availability. You are welcome to enhance your music/entertainment, floral selections, photography, and décor with our preferred partners.

    When can I book a ceremony package?

    You can book a ceremony anywhere from eighteen months out to one week prior to the ceremony date. (Please be advised that if booking short term, venue and floral selectionswill be limited and full payment will be required at the time of booking).

    Can I receive credit for unused items from my ceremony package?Unfortunately, you cannot receive credit for unused items from the ceremony package. Items are not transferable and unused items will be forfeit. The ceremony pricing will not be reduced if items are not used.

    How will we know when & how to walk down the aisle?

    The Wedding Concierge will be providing all instructions to the wedding party prior to the ceremony & cueing the processional behind the scenes on the day of the wedding.

    Were can our wedding party get changed?

    Guests, including the Bride and Groom, should get dressed and prepared in their room prior to the ceremony. Dressing rooms are not available. In some cases, arrangements can be made for a holding room for the wedding couple only.

    When will our flowers be distributed?

    Your Wedding Concierge will have your floral at your ceremony location. If you need your flowers earlier in the day, please make arrangements in advance with yourWedding Concierge.

    How long is the ceremony?

    The ceremony is approximately fifteen (15) minutes in length. This will be longer based on religious traditions, readings, number of persons in the wedding party, and length of personal vows.

    Can we begin the ceremony without a marriage license?

    A marriage license must be present at the venue in order to begin any ceremony. Should the marriage license be forgotten, the wedding will not begin until the license has been placed in the hands of our Officiant.

    What happens after the ceremony?

    After your recessional, the guests will be asked to exit the ceremony venue. Your photographer may then take you, your wedding party, & immediate family (optional) back to the ceremony venue for the formal session followed by the couple’s photo session.

    Can we write our own vows or bring a passage or prayer?

    Personal vows and/or a prayer or passage is a wonderful way to customize your ceremonyand we strongly encourage it. Please make sure that you send a copy to your coordinator toensure a backup copy and a copy for the Officiant to review and approve. Please note thatthe Officiant does not need to review personal vows.

    Can we provide our own music with a CD or our own DJ for the ceremony?

    You are more than welcome to provide your own music for your ceremony at no additional cost. Our professional & knowledgeable audio-visual production staff will coordinate all your music selections flawlessly. Outside DJ’s are not permitted for the ceremony but are permitted for your reception. Vendors will need to provide a certificate of insurance that meets The Mirage’s minimum coverage.

    Will I get to meet the Officiant prior to the ceremony?

    The Officiant will visit with the bride & groom on the day of the ceremony prior to start time. If there are any special readings/poems you wish to incorporate, please submit them to your coordinator thirty (30) days before your ceremony for the Officiant’s review. A formal ceremony rehearsal can be arranged with the Officiant for an additional fee. Please consult your Wedding Concierge to make rehearsal arrangements.

    Am I limited to order floral from what is provided with the package?

    Mirage Floral is happy to assist with slight modifications to our bouquet/boutonniere options such as alternate stem colors and ribbon tie options. If you have a specific design selected from a magazine or internet photo, our preferred floral partner will be able to assist with your vision. Please note, credit will not be given should you decide to use a floral partner.

    Can I order additional floral arrangements, centerpieces, boutonnieres, corsages, and bouquets?

    Yes you can! Mirage Floral will assist with additional floral enhancements and arrangements from our available selections.

    Can I bring my own floral or décor to the ceremony/reception venue?

    While The Mirage prefers you work with our vetted partners to ensure the highest quality of service, we would be happy to partner with your chosen decorator. Vendors will need to provide a certificate of insurance that meets The Mirage’s minimum coverage.

    How can I make a reservation for just the wedding couple or a group of less than ten (10)?

    Our Weddings Team will assist with placing the reservation for the wedding couple directly. The remaining reservations will be placed through our Hotel Reservation’s team. You can contact the reservations team at 702-791-7111. You may also place the reservation directly via The Mirage’s webpage by visiting www.mirage.com. The discounted rate will be coded once the reservation and wedding ceremony are confirmed by your Wedding Concierge.Reservations placed through a third-party, such as Expedia or Tripadvisor, are not eligible for discounts.     Where can I order a cake?

    If you are hosting your reception in a Mirage restaurant or banquet venue, your Group Dining/Catering Manager will assist with the cake arrangements. The Mirage has a full-service pastry shop which creates custom wedding cakes based on your vision.

    Can I ship my dress to Mirage Weddings?

    Due to liability reasons, Mirage Weddings cannot store any shipped items for the bride and groom. However, you can ship your dress to FedEx Office located within the Mirage. Please address any shipped items as follows: The Mirage Resort & Casino with attention to the receiving guest (ATTN: Guest – YOUR NAME ) along with the address: 3400 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Las Vegas, NV 89109. Be sure to put your name on the package(s) and mobile number. FedEx Office will hold any packages until you arrive.

    Can we get assistance in Spa reservations? Tee times? Show tickets?

    The Mirage Concierge is available to assist with your reservation needs. Concierge can also assist with golf tee times, spa appointments, and other amenities such as babysitting and sightseeing. Concierge can be reached at 702-791-7111.

    Where can I get my dress steamed and rent tuxedos?

    Mirage Weddings refers couples to Creative Bridalwear for attire rental. They can be contacted at 866-544-1686 or via their website at www.creativebridalwear.com. This vendor specializes in wedding garment steaming as they have the specific equipment for luxury fabrics. The Bell Desk at Mirage does offer off-property steaming services. For more information, please contact 702-791-7111 and the operator will connect you to the Bell Desk. If you are looking into other vendor options, be sure to ask if they have the appropriate knowledge & equipment to steam wedding gowns.

    Can we have our reception at a restaurant, unique venue, or ballroom?

    Absolutely! Mirage Weddings offers turnkey service and can seamlessly coordinate your reception in one of our award-winning fine-dining restaurants, unique venues, or renovated ballroom spaces. Mirage offers all-inclusive reception menu options and customized menus based on your preference. For unique venues and ballroom events, a complimentary tasting can be arranged with our catering and culinary professionals. Consult your sales manager on the many options available to create a once-in-a-lifetime experience for your special day!

    I am concerned about health and safety. Will my guests be safe in the current environment?

    Nothing is more important than the health and safety of our guests and employees. Our “Seven-Point Safety Plan” and Convene with Confidence program offer a comprehensive, multi-layered approach with guidance from public health experts. The Mirage does enforce all state and federal safety guidelines including appropriate distancing and masksrequirements. Please consult your wedding manager regarding the latest guidelines.

    Wedding ceremonies are held at the volcano, skyview, waterfall, dolphin habitat, or in our private ballrooms.

    The Mirage reserves the right to make the final decision concerning the suitability of holding a function outdoors or relocating it indoors due to inclement weather.

    For wedding ceremonies at the volcano

    • The volcano ceremony venue is located adjacent to the porte-cochèreoff of the main entrance to The Mirage.

    • The volcano ceremony venue is a semi-private area. While the area is blocked off by a gate, it is not completely secluded from the public.

    • Ceremonies are conducted on the lawn adjacent to the volcano. We recommend that you wear footwear and attire that is suitable for this area. The Mirage is not liable for damages to attire.

    • The volcano borders water. Please be sure that all persons in attendanceare closely monitored.

    • The noise levels are in excess of 100 decibels when the volcano is erupting. This area is in close proximity to speakers that are strategically placed throughout the lagoon.

    • The volcano erupts after the evening ceremony has concluded. The volcano does not erupt for daytime ceremonies.

    • For reasons beyond our control, the volcano may be unable to erupt. This includes but is not limited to intrusions along the perimeter, maintenance, equipment malfunction and winds in excess of 9 miles per hour.

    For wedding ceremonies at the pool

    • Functions held in one of our pool sections do not guarantee exclusive access to the entire pool.

    • Please keep in mind that if there are receptions that have music in different sections of our pool, music levels cannot be contained to one area.

    • Groups will be required to keep their music levels low while other groups are conducting their ceremony.

    • Music levels are monitored by the Banquet and Audio-Visual Supervisors. The Mirage has the right to determine the appropriate music levels.

    • For a sand pouring ceremony, unity candle, etc., glass cannot be used.

    For wedding ceremonies at the Dolphin Habitat

    • The Dolphin Habitat ceremony venue is semi-private. The venue will be open to all guests who will be able to watch your ceremony.

    • The ceremony location is roped off, prohibiting non-ceremony guests from entering the ceremony area.

    • As the ceremony is conducted beside the dolphin pool and risk of getting wet is present. The Mirage is not liable for damages to attire.

    • Ceremony music will be focused on the ceremony area only and will compete with other noise including dolphin habitat music and BARE pool lounge music.

    • For a sand pouring ceremony, unity candle, etc., glass cannot be used.

    • Glass, china, plastic lids, straws, twist off bottle caps, cozys, clear disposablecups, plates, etc. are not permitted in the Habitat for the safety of the animals.No clear plastic can be used.

    • Smoking is not permitted in the venue

    • The areas around the dolphin pools are potential splash zones. Keep in mindthat salt water may damage your personal belongings

    • Guests are not permitted to feed the animals

    • For the safety of guests and animals, The Mirage reserves the right to removeany guest who exhibits disruptive behavior

    All Outdoor Venues

    • The Mirage reserves the right to make the final decision concerning the suitability of holding a function outdoors or relocating it indoors due to inclement weather. The decision of The Mirage will be final. All other services (i.e., audio visual, sound, décor lighting for décor and bands, heaters, special requests and heavy labor) will have applicable charges as per current pricing.

    • Basic lighting is provided by Encore Event Technologies and included in the ceremony package pricing. Encore will charge your account directly for their ceremony and reception lighting services.

    For wedding ceremonies in a ballroom or SkyView

    • Ceremonies in these venues are private.

    • Ceremonies are limited to 1.5 hours of venue time unless the venue has been contracted for a reception following the ceremony.

    • The Mirage reserves the right to make room and/or location changes.

    • Music in SkyView must be kept at an ambient level and all music must end by 11 PM.

    Sight & Sound Events will be responsible for your sound system and music includedin your ceremony package.

    Please note the Catering Manager that has booked and/or serviced your weddingplans may not be on staff the day of your event. The Catering Manager will reviewall of the details with the Wedding Concierge assigned to assist with your weddingwhen applicable.

    The Mirage strongly recommends the use of our “day of” wedding planner to assist you and your guests with the various tasks and needs surrounding your wedding day. The Mirage Catering Manager will only be able to assist with the ceremony and reception execution and personal floral deliverables.

    Marriage License

    • To obtain your marriage license, both parties must appear in person before a clerk at a Clark County Marriage Bureau location.

    • The Mirage will require a legal Nevada Marriage License to be presented prior to the start of your ceremony. We will not perform the wedding ceremony without a marriage license.

    • Breakfast menus are served between 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

    • Reception can be offered beginning from 2:00 p.m. on. Your Catering Manager can send you our a la carte reception menus which include hors d’oeuvres, appetizers, action stations and desserts.

    • Dinner menus are served from 2:00 p.m. on.

    • Please refer to banquet policies found in the back of the CelebrationMenus for additional policies and standards which apply to all banquet events.

    Wedding Cakes

    • Wedding cake prices vary – see menu for cake suggestions.

    • Celebration cakes start at $15.00 per person and up. Cake prices are based on the cake design, number of tiers and portions.

    • If there is a specific cake design that you have in mind, send a photograph and description to your Catering Manager. The cost of the cake is based on the cake design. Your Catering Manager will confirm the cost once they have reviewed the cake design with our Pastry Chef.

    • Our Pastry Chef determines the size of each cake and the number of tiers needed based on the guarantee. The top tier of the cake serves 8 peopleand is factored into the total number of portions.

    • If a couple prefers to save the top tier for their 1st anniversary, it is the responsibility of the couple to advise their Catering Manager when finalizing the menu. The Catering Manager will calculate the number of portions for the size of the cake requested and determine the additional cost for the top tier of the cake.

    • If the couple decides to save the top tier of the cake, the CateringManager will make arrangements with the Banquet Supervisor to put it in a box once cake service has concluded. It is the responsibility of the couple to take the top tier with them at the end of the reception.

    Menu Tastings

    • The Mirage offers a complimentary menu tasting to couples with weddingreceptions of 50 guests or more that have already contracted theceremony and reception with The Mirage.

    • The complimentary tasting is offered for only two people. Should you wish tobring additional guest(s), you will be required to pay prevailing menu pricesfor said guest(s).

    • A minimum of three week’s notice is required to host a tasting.

    • Tastings must be hosted more than four weeks prior to the wedding date.

    • Any décor requested for the tasting (including, but not limited to linen, chairs,floral, etc.) will be charged to the client.

    Outdoor Receptions

    • Paradise Café

    • A $500.00 Facility Fee will be charged for use of this venue.

    • Existing tables and chairs must be used for events. In the case that furniture needs to be moved to accommodate the requested event setup, additional labor charges will apply. Please speak with the Sales or Catering Manager for details.

    Poolside Venues

    • A $2,000 - $20,000 Facility Fee will be charged based on event area required

    • Facility fee covers basic power, ambient safety lighting, labor to set/strike pool and banquet furniture, lifeguard labor.

    • Groups will incur a $1000.00 early closure fee for the Dolphin & Pool Bars ifthe event start time is earlier than the normal closure time. Early closures mustbe approved in writing by the Hotel.

    All Outdoor Venues

    • Disposable products will be used. Glassware and China are not permitted.

    • Weather temperature can be no less than 60 degrees Fahrenheit

    • Winds can be no more than 10 miles per hour

    • Weather back-up space is required

    • A minimum of (2) hours setup time is required

    • Ceremony photography provided by The Mirage is provided exclusively by Sight & Sound Events.

    • Outside photography is permitted. Please inform your Wedding Specialist if you are using an outside photographer to obtain proper approval and insight for security.

    • Family and friends are welcome to take photos in conjunction with Sight & Sound Events as long as they stay seated during the ceremony and they do not use flash or lighting of any kind. Should family or friends obstruct the professional photographer at any time, they will be asked to cease allphotography and/or may be escorted from the ceremony location by Mirage staff.

    • The photo studio reserves the right to use any and all negatives, images, files, and/or reproductions for display, publication or other purposes. Negatives and copyrights that are not purchased by the guest remain the exclusive property of the studio.

    • Personal floral (bouquet and boutonniere) are included with the ceremony package. Additional floral services are available at additional cost.

    • You can contact your Wedding Concierge to further discuss your additional floral needs. The charges for your flowers will be incorporated with the other charges and placed on your master account.

    • Modifications to packaged floral is limited to stem color and ribbon color changes. Colors are seasonal and based on availability.

  • • Any floral arrangements that you request to be moved from the ceremony to a Mirage reception site will incur a flat fee of $50.00.

    • Flowers may be taken at the conclusion of your event with the exceptionof vases, stands and other floral containers.

    • All candles used as décor must be electric. Open flame is not permitteddue to fire code.

    • It is the responsibility of the organization to ensure its contracted decorator provides The Clark County Fire Department with all proper certification of fire- retardant materials. This must be done in advance of the function. The decorator must also have in its possession at the time of setup in The Mirage, copies of such certificates for presentation upon request by The Mirageand/ or the Clark County Fire Department.     • The use of sparklers, confetti, glitter, sprinkles, rice, bird seed or anything similar is strictly prohibited.

    • Vendors used not from The Mirage’s preferred vendor list must provide a certificate of insurance that meets The Mirage’s minimum coverage requirements.

    • Your Wedding Concierge/Catering Manager can assist you with our internal linen, chair, and tableware options.

    • Specialty décor including specialty linens, charger plates, lounge furniture, specialty chairs, ice sculptures, ceiling drapery, and perimeter décor, etc. can be arranged through our preferred partners.

    • Prices listed are current and are subject to change without notice.

    • Food & Beverage is subject to prevailing sales tax (currently 8.375%), non-taxable 19% gratuity, and taxable 4% service charge.

    • Wedding Ceremony services and packages are subject to prevailing sales tax (currently 8.375%) and non-taxable 1% administration charge.

    D A N C E F L O O R S

    • Hotel oak wooden parquet dance floors are complimentary. The Mirage is able to provide dance floor up to 24’ x 30’ in size.

    B I L L I N G

    • A non-refundable deposit is required by credit card no less than thirty (30) days prior to your event date.

    • 14 days prior to the date of your event, full prepayment for all anticipated services must be received.

    • If payment has not been received within the specified time limits. The Mirage maintains the right to cancel the event and retain the deposit.

    • A copy of the banquet check/wedding invoice will be emailed to the client for review and signature following the event. The client agrees that bysigning the check for food, beverage, and other services, he/she acknowledges the fact that there is no dispute over such charges and the host/sponsor is solely responsible for the payment of the total amount due. If the client does not dispute charges within three business days of receiving the checks, he/she acknowledges that there are no disputes over such services.

    • Any additional charges will be posted to the credit card on file by our Accounting Department usually within four weeks after your event.

    A U D I O V I S U A L

    • AV, including lighting, power, and rigging is provided exclusively by Encore Event Technologies and Sight & Sound Events. Sub-contracting or providing your own audio-visual equipment, with exception of DJ services for your reception, is not permitted. Additional charges may apply for DJ or activation power. Please consult with your Wedding Concierge and Encore Sales Manager.

    R E C E P T I O N A G E N D A A N D M U S I C

    • The group is responsible for booking their own reception music. Your Catering Manager can assist with providing a list of preferred partners although we recommend using Sight & Sound Events for ease and consistency between the ceremony and reception.

    • It is the group’s responsibility to provide the Catering Manager with the agenda when finalizing the details one month prior to the event.

    • It is the group’s responsibility to distribute and review the final reception agenda with the DJ or band emcee and your Catering Manager no later than three business days prior to your wedding.

    Agenda to include:

    • Grand entrance list and announcement order

    • Toast and speeches (to include names and sequence) Bride and Groom’s first dance

    • Parents and couple’s dances

    • Cake cutting ceremony and service Miscellaneous festivities in time sequence

    • In consideration of all parties involved, music cannot disrupt another group’s ceremony or speeches while they are being conducted. When there are two or more events scheduled in different sections of our pool or private ballroom during the same time period, music levels must remain low while another group’s ceremony or speeches are conducted. Your Catering Manager will review the time frame of the other group’s ceremony when you are finalizing the details. Your Catering Manager will update you after that date pending new ceremony business so you can plan your agenda accordingly.

    • Please keep in mind that if there are receptions that have music in different sections of our pool, music levels cannot be contained to one area.

    • Music levels are monitored by the Banquet and Audio-Visual Supervisors. The Mirage has the right to determine the appropriate music levels.
