The CYBEL MISTRAL is a line of thulium-doped fiber amplifiers de-

signed for amplification of eye-safe light in the wavelength range 1920

to 2055nm. Our model MISTRAL-2051 has been specifically de-

signed for operation around the important CO2 absorption near

2051nm. The amplifier can provide more than 1W of single transverse

mode output power for a 1mW, single frequency input at 2051nm.

The MISTRAL-2051 comes as either a standard or an all polarization

maintaining amplifier, that provides the user with stable and high per-

formance over a bandwidth from 2049nm to 2053nm. Output power

and monitoring of key operating parameters such as, automatic cur-

rent control ( ACC ) and automatic power control ( APC ) modes

are controlled from either an RS232 or USB port.
