COMMON HIGHLIGHTS OF ALL MMCS BASED APPLICATION SYSTEMS:
Any single purpose system based on MMCS platform can be easily expanded into simultaneous “multi berth”, “multi channel”,
“multi media”, “multi purpose”, ”multi application” marine monitoring & control system. Modular design allows any MMCS
based system to adapt to new application, or new requirements of existing application at minimum cost and effort.
“Multi purpose” and “multi application” means every interactive station / device allowed into the system, such a Zalda LIS
Local Interface Station, a HMS-HCS Handheld Station or the cell phone of an authorized operator, can monitor and control
across several application systems integrated on the same platform. For example, on the same local interface station, an
user can control release actuators, davits, AV alarms, or winches, while monitoring mooring load, berthing status, or current
speed at the same time; the same tasks can also be performed on his Black Berry. To an MMCS user, every device he has
access to can be his central control room.
“Multi channel” means most monitoring and control functions of a MMCS based system can be performed on a MMCS
station, or an authorized computing device via commercial networks such as LAN / WIFI / WWW / GPRS / GSM / SMS /
Edge / RF without sacrificing safety standard. AV alarms and large display panels under MMCS control are also supported
as additional channels of information access.
“Multimedia” stands for audio interface / signals, visual interfaces / signals, and surveillance video on MMCS platform
interfaces. This makes easier for MMCS system personnel to interpret incoming information and make decisions accordingly.
Interactive network monitoring & control, real time automation programming, network power on-off control, surveillance video
integration, audio assisted monitoring, and configurable mobile device platform are some of the “first of its kind” advance
functions amongst it peers.
Developed for marine robot applications, MMCS is a highly sophisticated general industrial monitoring and control platform
that can easily adapt to most other marine or general industrial monitoring and control - automation applications. If required,
Zalda can customize at component or system level to meet application requirements or customer preferences MMCS CORE COMPONENTS AND FEATURES FOR ALL MMCS BASED APPLICATION SYSTEMS:
