After high school and one year at MACC, I earned a BSBA and an MBA from the University of Central Missouri,also working as a night foreman at a circuit board plant, cook at a donut shop and graduate teaching assistant.Worked with 4 major organizations in Kansas City over the next 30 years, and then at the University of Missourifor almost 9 years - all in the field of human resources, administration and finance. Taught night classes atvarious colleges the whole time, and have taught for Columbia College for 25 years. Now Director of StudentServices at MACC, member of the moberly Chamber of Commerce and Board Member of Moberly Rotary Club.Known to sing for the "ladies" of the Sycamore Queen competition at Rail Road Days, and serve on the steeringcommittee for MACC's award winning Art on The Block program. Did a little recording of some original songsand still occasionally play in rock & roll bands. Got to play the part of Lee Dresser in a tribute to the Krazy Katslast year at the Rail Road Days Follies. Lost my Dad, Mary's Mom and my Mom, but Mary's Dad (94) lives inIndependence, MO and at the Lake, and is going strong. All 3 kids are doing well, and that's something to bethankful for. After graduation, I attended one year of school at Moberly Area Community College, decided to sit out a yearand work at Orscheln's Brake Lever, but was drafted into the Army. Married Linda Cobb at Carpenter StreetBaptist Church May 1973. I spent 10 years on active duty with the Army, mostly in the Missile Repair Field. When I got out of the Army, I didn't know what I wanted to do and worked for a short time each at GeneralElectric and Intergraph Corp., both in Huntsville, Al. In 1983 I went back to work for the US Army MissileCommand as a Department of the Army Civilian. In 1993, I went to work in the Pentagon for the Deputy Chief ofStaff for Logistics, Maintenance Policy Office. Later I moved to the US Army Materiel Command, which I retiredfrom in 2007. During our 34 years of Army life, we have lived or had tours in Germany, Redstone Arsenal,AL.; Ft. Lewis, WA.; Ft. Riley, KS.; Ft. Stewart, GA.; Ft. Bragg, NC; Pentagon, Washington DC; Ft. Belvoir, VA.;Crete, Egypt and Southwest Asia (Desert Shield/Storm). After retiring from Federal service, we moved downto Harvest, AL (2008); because our daughter, Michaela her husband Jason and the blessing of our lives, ourgrand-daughter Mason live close by. Fortunately for us, the rest of our kids also decided to move down toAlabama. I decided I was still not ready to totally retire, so I now work as a defense contractor, supporting theArmy Materiel Command (Forward) on Redstone Arsenal, AL. Basically doing the same thing I did as a Armycivilian. * As for my past time, what time is not dedicated to Family, Church or religious activities, I spend inthe yard and flower gardens, cooking, genealogy and of course golf.

My husband Dwaine and I live on a farm about 6 miles sount of Lentner MO. We both work for South ShelbySchools. We raise whitetail deer and have a pumpkin farm. Beginning the last weekend in September things arebooming around our house. We sell pumpkins, give hay rides, and have a halloween gift shop. We have beendoing this for 26 years. I think it is about time to retire but Dwaine has such a blast that I know we will be goingfor many more (good Lord willing). We have 4 children, Matt lives in Nashville, TN. After graduation I attended MJC for a semester and then got married in 1971. I worked at City Bank in Moberlyfor several years as a secretary for Lois Polly, who was then Executive Vice President, and then on to MoberlyJunior High as a secretary for Mr. Nelson and Mr. Yocum. Then later also I worked part time for City Bank andthe school system and filled in whenever they needed me. Daryl and I moved to Troy, MO in 1998 and heretired last year from the railroad. We're enjoying this new life. I have played competitive volleyball since highschool - over 30 years of wear and tear - ha - I quit playing last year (but would probably play again!) and enjoycross stitching and swimming in our pool in the summer - that's where I'm usually at then! Daryl and I willcelebrate our 39th wedding anniversary this June 2010. We have two great sons that we are very proud of. Lifehas been good. :) THOUGHT I'D BETTER UPDATE MY PROFILE - IT HAS COME TO MY ATTENTION THATSEVERAL CLASSMATES HAVE THOUGHT I PLAYED PROFESSIONAL VOLLEYBALL - NO WAY - NOTWITH THIS BODY! Has been a while since I've updated my biography. Life gets away from us I'm afraid. Our youngestson, Brian, is running for Boone County Collector in Columbia, MO. The election is November 4th so if any ofyou are registered voters in Boone County or you know anyone that is he'd appreciate the vote!! His dad and Ihave been busy helping him with the campaign and it's been a fun experience. Lots of parades and lots ofwalking but that's good for us! I've been trying my hand at songwriting. Have written several and one of ourfriends who is a country singer has put my words to music so that has been exciting hearing it sung. Not sure ifanything will ever come of it but I enjoy writing poetry so one day my friend said to write a song so I did. :) Idoubt seriously you'll hear it on the radio but who knows!!?? Ha. Daryl and I are enjoying life after retirementand we are never lacking of something to do. Especially now that Brian has been campaigning and we follow acountry music band here and there. And of course, I still swim. We have yet to close our pool for the winter butthat's coming soon. I ventured in the other day and nearly froze but had to have one more swim before thecover goes on. I only attended MHS for the last two years of high school, going to St Pius X for grades K-10. I graduated fromMACC in 1972 and married Kenneth R Jones, of Marshall, Mo on June 4th of that year. Our daughterStephanie, was born in 1975. In 1977 we moved to McCook, NE, where we lived for 4 years. We moved back toMissouri to be closer to family and settled in Brunswick, MO. Ken works for the County Bank here in Brunswick(you have probably seen the new building on Morley St being constructed for the Moberly Branch). KalClevenger, a fellow classmate, is one of the owners of County Bank - small world, huh? I returned to collegewhen my daughter started school and , somehow, I graduated Valedictorian of my class (?!?!???)in 1985 fromMissouri Valley College with a degree in Elementary Ed. I taught 5th grade for 5 years in Brunswick, MO. Then Iworked part-time at American Family Insurance for 17 years, until my boss retired in 2008 and they closed theoffice. My husband, Ken, and I have had a stained glass business for over 25 years. I'm in marketing & design;he is in production. LOL He does fantastic work and we just recently launched a website:www.brunswickstainedglass.com You can, also, see his work at the New Hope Methodist Church in Renick,MO. I started entering recipe contests in 2005 and have had good success & a lot of fun. I am currently one ofthe 100 finalists in the Pillsbury Bake-Off on April 12th in Florida. My parents and siblings still reside in Moberly;my daughter who lives in Minneapolis is an artist.

Studied mime for 6 months in Paris after leaving Moberly, then finished a Bachelor's degree at Webster Collegein St. Louis. Moved to Berkeley,California in 1974 and here I have remained. I started working at Southwestern Bell Telephone in Moberly in September, 1970. Held various positions withinthe company in Moberly and Mexico then was transferred to Lee's Summit, MO in September, 1986. I receivedseveral promotions during my career. I retired in December, 2005 with over 35 years of service. I married MikeWeisenborn in March of 1980 whom I met at Southwestern Bell. We have 2 children, 4 grandchildren and 3great-grandchildren. We enjoy spending time doing volunteer work in our Church, Meals on Wheels, HillcrestTransitional Ministries and many other worthwhile causes. We also find great joy attending our grandsons (ages6 and 10) soccer games. We also have a home at Bennett Springs, MO where Mike likes to trout fish and Iusually have a cross-stitch project in hand. This year we are wintering in Harlingen, Texas where we aremissing all the snow and cold weather in Missouri.

Both live in Columbia MO currently. My stepson, Will, is in Colorado andstepdaughter Krystal is in St. Louis. Went to college after graduation; quit college;got married and had two children. Was a stay at home Mom until1989---went back to school, finished my degree in 3 HARD years, got a job. Oh yeah, moved from Moberly toManchester,TN and lived there for 11 years, graduated from Middle Tennessee State University and moved toEl Paso, TX to accept a teaching position. Got a Master's Degree as an educational diagnostician (schoolpsychologist without the psychology part) and worked in El Paso until October of 2008. Earned a second degreein Educational Management and Leadership in 2006. Separated from spouse in September 2008, got a job inthe Dallas Metroplex and have lived here since October of last year. Started school (AGAIN!!!) in July 2009 towork on a Master's in Community Counseling. (NOT in school now---my job is just waaaaaay too intense---so Iguess that makes me a drop out again!) Just hangin' out here in the Metroplex and enjoying my two childrenand four grandchildren.

I served in the Navy after high school. Returned to Moberly & went to work for Orscheln. In 1976 I marriedColleen Coleman of Moberly. Following our honeymoon to New Orleans we decided that New Orleans waswhere we wanted to live. We left Moberly in 1978 and headed for the warmer weather of the gulf south. Greatplace to live if you like hurricanes..! I went to work for the Port of New Orleans as a Marine Engineer. In 1981 Iwent from the engine room to the wheel house & became a tug captain. In 1999 I became manager of the Port's"ship to shore container cranes". A very unique job & I love it. Colleen & I had 2 daughters Shawna (1978)&Brooke (1981). In 1983 I lost Colleen & my youngest daughter Brooke in a car accident. I later married Ana, aNew Orleans gal. We reside just outside of New Orleans. My hobbies are jogging religiously, Gardening,restoring old muscle cars & drag racing ( Mopar Baby!). I plan to retire from the Port in 12-14 mths. Update:6-17-13 Retired a few months ago & I am sooo.. loving it !!!

Following high school graduation,I attended Moberly Jr. College where I met my husband, Tom. I graduatedfrom the University of MO. with a Bachelors in Social Work and have been employed by the Mo. Dept. of SocialServices since 1975. For 25 years, I worked as an Adoption Specialist for the Division of Family Services whereI was assigned to several counties in the northern part of the state recruiting, training and maintaining adoptivefamilies for special needs children. I currently supervise foser care and adoptive services for the the Children'sDivision {formerly DFS} in Randolph and Howard Counties. Working in child welfare has not only been a job, buta passion for the past 35 years. I find myself growing tired, however, and am ready to make a career changeonce I figure out what I would like to do next. Tom and I have two children, Matt and Heather. Matt and his wifereside in Lake St. Louis. Heather and her husband have returned to Moberly after living in the Springfield areafor a few years. They are currently teachers in the Moberly School System. I enjoy being a grandmother to mytwo granddaughters who can always make me smile. Becky Pitney Kendrick 8/10/2015 There have been a fewchanges since I wrote the above biography. I retired from the Children's Division on 10/1/2013 and spent thenext 10 months taking it easy. I am currently a part time Family Resource Advocate for the Moberly Head Start.This has been a perfect position for me so far. I work 20 hours a week and have summers and 2 weeks atChristmas off. The best part has been not supervising other workers. I do my job and go home at the end of mywork week not feeling like the burdens of the world are on my shoulders. If you are working a stressful job,hopefully you will also be able to retire soon. Tom and I now have 4 granddaughters.

Worked inthe funeral business until 1988. Wanted to do something besides embalming and funeral directing so I went towork for Ford Motor Co. at the Kansas City Assembly Plant. Did not intend to stay there but now 22 years laterand 4 grown kids it has been a wonderful experience. I am a Production Improvement Data Specialist. I collectdata and make charts to show how to improve and increase production. Completed my BS degree in HumanResources later in life. Thinking about early retirement or a buyout from Ford Motor Co. So I am backembalming and funeral directing part time in KC. This way I can keep busy and do something I love when Ileave Ford. Brenda (class of '71)and I have been married 37 years.

Hi! I'm upset that I won't be able to attend the reunion this year...I've never missed one! We are already sort ofobligated to two different places already on that date, so unless we skip both of them, we won't be able toattend. Life is good, both of us still working, altho the plan is that we will nearly retire by year's end. I am jack ofall trades including HR and marketing for our town's small independent cooperative telephone company. Theindustry and the job have changed much in the last 15 years, but it is never dull and I enjoy my job. I havealways only officially been part time. What that has meant for me is that I work full time when I am able, but ifGarrett or the boys or parents need me, then I'll be there and not at work. I have been fortunate that the optionhas been available to me. Garrett is still at Cooper Nucluear in Brownville, NE, very much looking forward toretirement. The plan has always been that he would have his woodworking shop built and outfitted before hequit. Those things are nearly finished and he is anxious to start building furniture. About seven years ago, webought at condo at the Lake of the Ozarks and have become "lake people"! We enjoy boating and golfing aboutevery other weekend. We were blessed with two boys. We adopted Wade in 1979. We've always felt he wasmeant to be ours, God just solved two prayers with one move. I still can't believe he ended up in Moberly!Seems so weird, but he and his wife Ashley and our new grandson Luca, live at the edge of town. He works forDishTV and she works in the Huntsville school system as a para. We usually see them on lake weekends.Kalen was born to us in 1984, after many more fertility tests! And he too, has been a gift. He chose to go toWest Point (not a mother's dream!), graduating in 2006. He's a captain now, and at this writing, getting ready todeploy to Afganistan within the next few weeks. He and Celinda married last year, and she will remain inSavannah, GA where they have been living. She has a great support system there, their church, other militarywives and their tri-athalon buddies, so she'll be fine. She is finishing her Master's in counseling and hopes towork in a college there also. Mom and Dad moved to Rock Port in 2000, just before their heath really started todeteriorate.
