Communication is the process of to impart
information from a sender to a receiver with the use
of a medium.
In mobile communication this medium will be air.
A communication network (either public or private)
which doesn't depend on any physical connectionbetween two communication entities and have
flexibility to be mobile during communication.

Mobile wireless industry has started its technology creation, revolution and evolution since early 1970s..
The cellular concept was introduced in the 1G technologywhich made the large scale mobile wireless communicationpossible.
Digital communication has replaced the analogytechnology in the 2G which significantly improved thewireless communication quality.
Data communication, in addition to the voicecommunication, has been the main focus in the 3Gtechnologies and a converged network for both voice anddata communication is emerging.

Before Starting the revolution of mobile communication industry we
passed the pre-cellular generation which also known as the 0th
Generation of Mobile Communication Field.
Technologies are used in 0th Generation are
PTT - Push to Talk
MTS- Mobile Telephone System (Motorola in conjunction with the Bell
system operated the first commercial mobile telephone service MTS in the US in
1946, as a service of the wire line telephone company. )
IMTS Improved Mobile Telephone System (First automatic system was the Bell
System's IMTS which became available in 1962, offering automatic dialing to and from
the mobile)
AMTS - Advance Mobile Telephone System

Before officially 1st Generation
comes there is generation called
0.5 G . This was a successor of
Basic 0 G Technologies
0.5 G Technologies Autotel /PALM Public Automated
Land Mobile
ARP - Autoradiopuhelin, Car Radio
Phone
HCMTS-High Capacity Mobile
Telephone System.
These mobile telephones were
usually mounted in cars or trucks,
though briefcase models were also
made.
The first mobiletelephone call madefrom a car occurredin St. Louis, Missouri,
USA on June 17, 1946,using the Bell System's
Mobile TelephoneService.

1G (or 1-G) is short for first-generation wireless telephonetechnology, cellphones.
Uses digital signaling to connect the radio towers to the restof the telephone system .
Uses analog signaling to communicate between the
speakers.
The voice is modulated to higher frequency, typically 150MHzand up.

1st Generation Technologies NMT - Nordic Mobile Telephone ( First
automatic cellular system) NMT is based on analog technology and
two variants exist: NMT-450 and NMT-900.The numbers indicate the frequency bandsuses.
AMPS- Advanced Mobile PhoneSystem AMPS uses separate frequencies, or
"channels", for each conversation. Ittherefore required considerable bandwidthfor a large number of users
TACS -Total Access CommunicationSystem
JTACS - Japan Total AccessCommunication System
The first commercially
automated cellular
network (in1G) was
launched in Japan by
NTT (Nippon
Telegraph and
Telephone) in 1979
