Mobility is an out-n-out “social” phenomena

Restaurants are WOWing diners with iPad enabled menus replete with item details and scope for personalized orders

Cops on the ground are using iPads to check the background info of criminals, route maps to trace them and yes even play “Angry Birds” to relax

Movie directors have suddenly found a great scene analyzer and dynamic clipboard to help them out while shooting

Pilots find searchable instruction manuals on iPad much more convenient that 10,000 page paper dumps

DJs have found a perfect “mixing” companion in the iPad that does a lot more than just the original task

Soccer coaches have also befriended the iPad for strategizing the play of matches

Politicians too think that the iPad can help them serve the country better by keeping them updated on ground movements

Even the Pope and other religious leaders have found a friend in iPad to help preach and deliver sermons

With such diverse social scope, it was just a matter of time before iPads found their

way into enterprises..

…transforming business processes much more

complicated and complex in nature…

Clinical Trial monitors use the iPad to streamline complex activities and ensure regulation adherence thereby helping Pharma companies speed up drug “time-to-market”

Retail chains are using iPads to improve in-store execution performance and deliver the perfect shopping experience to visiting customers

Banks are enabling customers to deposit cheques at the click of a phone camera thus preventing the need for long queues

Yet, mobility continues to be driven by consumers..

..more prominently by the “Millennials”

For the “developers” though the biggest benefit of

working on mobility is that...
