About the Organizers:American Water Works Association(AWWA)

• Purpose – Safe Drinking Water

• Provide Scientific/Education

• State/Regional/Student Chapters

MWTC• Originated in Florida in 2004

• Seven Florida regions currently host events

• Other States are adopting (southeast, west)

• Plans for state level competition in future

5. Local water utilities, regulators and engineersare encouraged to judge the event
