    Mile One Center on Friday night. Left wing Nick Deslauriers scored the lone goal for the Monarchs. Left wing Jason Jaffray, center

    Albert, and right wing Jerome Samson lit the lamp for the IceCaps. Monarchs goaltender J.F. Berube (14-11-2) took his 11th loss o

    season making 27 saves on 30 shots. IceCaps netminder EddiePasquale (16-12-1) earned his 16th win of the season, stopping 36-

    shots. Manchester was 0-for-5 on the power play. St. Johns went 1-for-5 with the man advantage.

    Manchester is tied with theSpringeld Falconsfor the lead in the American Hockey Leaguewith 58 points. The Monarchs 10 point lethe Atlantic Division is the largest divisional lead in the Eastern Conference and the second largest overall in the AHL.

    The Monarchs are ranked 28th in the AHL on the power play with 24 goals on 171 attempts. Manchester is ranked 14th in the league o

    penalty kill stopping their opponent 154-of-187 times.

    The Monarchs have a record of 3-4-0-0 against the IceCaps this season. The two teams will match-up in their eighth of 10 contest

    Monday night.

    Manchester has had the most success on Saturdays as they have compiled an overall record of 13-2-0-1 on Saturdays.

    Left wing Tanner Pearson(13-12=25) ranks fourth on the Monarchs with 25 points.

    Pearson also ranks second on the Monarchs with 13 goals.

    Pearson recorded one point, a goal, in six games with the Kings from November 13 to December 3. He was recalled to the Kings on Tue

    January 7.

    Vey (6-16=22) is ranked fth on the Monarchs with 22 points.

    Vey recorded eight points (3-8=11) in 10 games from December 19 - January 15.

    Vey is the Monarchs ninth all-time leader with 85 assists from 2011 - present.

    Vey also collected ve assists in 14 games with the Kings from November 1 and December 19, 2013. He was recalled to the KingWednesday, January 15.

    LoVerde scored his second goal of the season in Saturdays 6-0 win over the IceCaps.

    Jones was recalled by the Kings on November 13, 2013, and returned to the Monarchs on January 5, 2014.

    Jones made his National Hockey Leaguedebut with the Kings against the Anaheim Duckson Tuesday, December 3. He backstoppe

    Kings to a 3-2 shootout victory, including going 9-for-9 in the shootout.

    Jones picked up his rst NHL shutout by stopping all 16 shots he faced in the Kings 3-0 victory over the New York Islanderson Satu

    December 7.

    The rookie netminder then stopped all 31 shots he faced in the Kings 6-0 shutout of the Montreal Canadienson Tuesday, December 1

    n 11 games with the Kings, Jones collected a record of 8-3-0, a .950 save percentage, a 1.41 goals-against-average, and three shutou

    Jones eight wins tied the NHL record for consecutive winning games to start an NHL career with netminder Bob Froesewho won his rst

    games with the Philadelphia Flyersduring the 1982-83 season.

    Jones is the rst goaltender in NHL history to allow an average of less than one goal per game while winning the rst eight appearanc

    his career.

    Jones is the third goaltender in NHL history to record three shutouts in his rst six starts. Goaltender Flat Walshaccomplished the
