University of Florida’s Bridges Minority Outreach Program targets underrepresented minority students in the effort to assist them through the college application process and shape them into competitive applicants for the university of their choice. The program has three overall goals: 1. Mentorship Development, 2. Resources & Curriculum, and 3. Immersive College Experience.

Students who are part of the program will be paired with UF students who will serve as their mentors. They will help lead their "mentee" and encourage them through their college application process and with their future transition to college life. UF will also be providing additional resources for students to guide them through this process. Lastly, our program grants students access to an immersive college experience, with an opportunity to shadow a student at the University of Florida.
