Characterization• Process by which the writer reveals the
personality of a character.Two Types:
1. Direct: tells the audience what the personality of the character is (ex: The patient boy and quiet girl were well mannered and didn’t disobey their mother.)
2. Indirect: shows things that reveal to the audience what the personality of the character is (ex: Julie owned a multitude of outfits and accessories, and it always took her forever to decide which combination might impress Trent.)
