Monette Miles To Team Up with The Power Is Now Online Radio Program as New Co-Host
Riverside, Ca. (February 14, 2012) – The Power Is Now online radio program is now adding more people to the team as they welcome their newest co-host, Monette Miles. Miles is going to co-host The Power Is Now Literacy Lounge, The Power Is Now Community and The Power Is Now Ministry programs.
Miles, also known as “Mo Poetic” has been serving her community since 1998, by providing enrichment-spoken word and culturally-related assemblies for several school districts, community centers, faith-based and nonprofit organizations. She founded the Homestreet Publishing, an organization that provides development programs on English/language art, education and community awareness. Being the poetic person that she is, Ms. Miles established The Let’s Write Out Loud Program that encourages children to fall in love with words.
Currently, Ms. Miles proudly serves as the Peer to Peer Coordinator of The Cup of Happy Program at Operation SafeHouse in Riverside, CA. This program offers prevention efforts prior to a diagnosis for mental illness. In addition to that, she also created Safe Speech, a creative writing program that helps youth discover how to use writing as a therapeutic tool to express and gradually ease feelings of emotional trauma.
Those are just some of the many other remarkable programs that Miles has founded over the years. In joining Eric Lawrence Frazier in his online radio program The Power Is Now, she will be able to continue
sharing her creativity and knowledge to realtors. The radio show is a great resource for real estate agents aspiring to grow and improve their businesses, which will give Miles the opportunity to carry on with her devotion of helping others. Initially, Miles will be co-hosting all the radio program shows on a monthly basis.
