I scan or save any relevant bills, forms, receipts, W-2 or other
documents to a tax folder on my laptop. Then I email them all to
my tax preparer and discuss the details by phone. I like the
security of having a tax professional that will find things I might
miss.

I keep all my receipts, but organizing them can be a time-
consuming task. Since I got my neat receipt scanner few years ago,
not only have I cleared out all the clutter, but I got rid of all the tax-
time headaches. And my accountant loves my "neat" PDF reports!Lana DzioubaRecruiter

for household, professional expenses and donations. Each page
has specific categories within it, for example, business supplies,
business telephone, etc. Deirdre Danahar

I can't say enough good things about mint.com! It does all the work
of organizing and categorizing your spending for you. It provides
information for making money decisions you feel good about. I can
see every transaction immediately, without having to wait for
statements or bills.

I have two separate businesses, and I find having a dedicated
credit card for each one very helpful with compiling year-end
expenses. My financial life would be total chaos without online
banking and bill-pay services. Iris ZinckResource Strategist
