• COLLECTING DATA both technical and economical

• ANALYSING DATA using objective performance indicators

• REPORTING THE RESULTS on a writen report + to local stakeholders.

How does water services monitoring work ?

• monitoring is a part of the legal framework

• is run by a private operator chosen after a call for bids (in

the 5 countries of the study) • Each monitoring operator

works in a dedicated area• Monitoring is financed

through the water tariff (5 to 10%)
