Our lovely Year 6 classes enjoyed some outdoor learning at

the Manchester Royal Infirmary this week. The children enjoyed lessons in life saving techniques such as

CPR, and also what to do in emergency

situations such as electrocution. They also learned basic

First Aid Techniques in dealing with cuts and

LEARNING AND LUNCH AT MANCHESTER MUSEUM

On Tuesday 17th January, a Creative Crew and their families went to work with our

friends at The Manchester Museum, for the start of an exciting project.

The museum is creating a whole new exhibition all about Southeast Asia. The

children were trained in question techniques to learn about objects and their history. Our

lovely mums and dads joined us, bringing traditional Asian dishes for us all to enjoy.

The children then interviewed their parents about their history and objects they brought

from home.

Thank you to the Manchester Museum, and a massive thank you to the parents who fed us

so well and talked about their lives and background.
