Message from Our President

Hi to all Members of the Mother Lode Model T Club,

Well, a pretty rainy January gave us a lot of time

to keep our Model T's indoors and fix all those little

mechanical problems that

have popped up thru the

year. I would like to

thank everyone who

attended our annual

President's Pizza Feed.

Everyone had a good time

visiting with each other

and enjoying some tasty

pizza. We still have a

couple more eating events

on the calendar, the next being the annual crab feed,

the date is set for February 9th. This will be hosted

by Kitty and Gina, those two ladies know how to

put on a crab feed. If you haven't signed up yet

make sure to call and let them know you would like

to attend and help out with hors d'oeuvres or dessert

and set up and clean up. We also have a Charter

Lunch coming up on March 23 at Auburn Valley

Golf Club and this is hosted by Susie. She would

like anyone with old club memorabilia or pictures

that they would be willing to bring to the event to

be placed on display please let her know. This is

our 50th Annual Charter Celebration.

I would also like to have a Board Meeting on

February 11th at the Round Table Pizza at the Elm

Center in Auburn, so that we can discuss this

special Charter Celebration.

Susie has some open months for tours, so if

anyone has a tour idea step up and lead one, it

would be nice to see some new bodies at the lead.

In closing, I would like to thank everyone for all

your support and help in keeping the Mother Lode

Model T Club active, and I look forward to seeing

you all at the February monthly meeting.

Celebration

1969 - 2019

March 23rd

Come celebrate the 50th anniversary of the

Mother Lode Model T Club. Social and

reminiscing time will start at 11 am. Pick up

your commemorative radiator badge. Brunch

will be served at 12 noon. See the attached

flyer for RSVP and additional information.

Commemorative Club Shirts

We will be ordering Tee Shirts with the new

commemorative logo. Shirts will be charcoal gray

with the new logo on the left front. We will also be

able to get kids sizes and ladies V neck style.

Pricing will be approximately $13 for mens and

kids, $14 for ladies V neck. Sizes to XL. Additional

cost for sizes XX and larger. Pricing will depend

on how many we order.

There will be a sign up at the next meeting.

Name Badges

Please remember to wear your name badge at all

club events. If you do not have a name badge or

need a new one please let me know and I will get

some made.

Meeting Minutes

Mother Lode Model T Club Meeting Minutes, Jan. 10th, 2019. Sizzler Restaurant, Auburn, CA.

Call to Order - The Meeting was called to order at 7:05 PM by President Gary Krezman. Greeter Report – It was noted that there were no Guests this evening for the General Club Meeting. Sunshine - Susie reported that all were well, and no cards sent out this past month. Treasurer Report - Sherry Rodriquez passed the torch to Debbie Bamber as the new Club Treasurer for 2019. Debbie then reviewed the Income and Expenses for December, 2018 and declared that our Club continues to remain in a very sound and solvent financial position. Secretary Report - Steve Short reported that the November General Meeting minutes were published in the Club’s Monthly newsletter. Hearing no corrections, Steve declared the Minutes accepted as written. VP - Upcoming 2018 and 2019 Activities Report - Susie and Gary Krezman provided the following overview:

Jan. 26th & 27th - Turlock Swap Meet. Stanislaus County Fairgrounds, 900 N. Broadway, Turlock. 2019 Tour Schedule – We still have an unfilled schedule. Please call Susie Krezman with ideas! Feb. 9th Crab Feed – This much beloved annual event will be hosted once again by Kitty Goodell and her sister Gina. Social Hour 5.00 PM & Dinner 6:00 PM 13626 New Airport Rd., Auburn, CA 95602. Get your Confirmation information and Checks submitted to Kitty by February 1st, 2019! Feb. 11th – Board Meeting, 6:PM Round Table Pizza, Auburn. Feb. 17-22 - Western National Tour and Meeting. Sierra Vista Arizona. Mar. 23rd – 50th Annual Charter Celebration Brunch. 11:00 AM Social, 12:00 Noon Lunch. Auburn Valley Country Club. Apr. 12-13 - Bakersfield Swap Meet. Kern County Fairgrounds Apr. 27th – 9th Annual Gil Machado Memorial Shake Down Tour. Susie and Gary are currently mapping out a tour to Plymouth, CA. JUN 1st & 2nd - 45th Annual Swap Meet – Auburn Fairgrounds. Volunteers are needed as always! Additional Tours are needed for May, June & July. Debbie and Bill Bamber offered to host the August Ice Cream Social Event.

Club Radiator Badges: John Saylor reported that our commemorative Radiator Badges have been delivered and will be available for distribution at the Charter event in the Spring. Club T- Shirt and Sweat Shirt Sales: John Saylor reported that we will be ordering new Club Wear featuring our updated 50th Anniversary Logo. Debie Bamber offered to take the responsibility of managing the sales when these nifty clothing (Small/ Medium/ and Large ) becomes available!

New Business – John Saylor was again thanked for his excellent continuation in editing our Monthly Club News Letter. He was awarded a 3rd place honor by the National Club for his excellent work! Steve Elliot was again thanked for his leading the Club Christmas Tour to Coloma!

Show and Tell- None was offered this evening. Club Member Auctions – None was offered this evening. Adjournment - With no further business, the meeting was closed at 7:44 PM, by President Krezman.

The Mother Lode Model T Club was organized and became a member of the Model T Ford Club of America in 1969. The club is a non-profit organization dedicated to the personal enjoyment of its members through the preservation and restoration of the Model T Ford and especially through activities involving the use of Model T Fords. Meetings at held on the second Thursday of each month with the exception of December, at the Sizzler, 13570 Lincoln Way, Auburn, Ca. 5:30 pm for dinner, 7 pm meeting. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in Model T Fords. Ownership of a Model T is not necessary. Dues - Annual Dues are $20 per family.
