Forestry ProductionTimberland accounted for 52.5 percent of the surface land of Morgan County. Total forestry production contributed 4.3 percent of the county’s total agricultural and forestry production.

Overall Contributions to Morgan CountyMorgan County’s agricultural, forestry, and related industries generated 18,841 full- and part-time jobs, representing 30.2 percent of the county’s total workforce (62,325 jobs).
