We commence Phase 1 of the Managed Return to School this week. This means that students aend for one day and connue learning at home for the other four days. At this stage we do not know how long this phase will last. The Week 3 and 4 Learning Packs were collected from our hall on Friday aſternoon. Changes to the formang have been made following feedback and hopefully the new packs will be easier to follow. It is wonderful to see the learning taking place at home. Our messaging around this has been consistent, do what you can when you can—we cant ask for more than that. There has been no decision to cancel our excursions that are scheduled for the second half of Term 3. Excursions are allowed to occur when schools move to Phase 4. We know these are wonderful aspects of your childs educaon journey and we will wait unl we have further informaon on how long the phases will last before cancelling if we have to. We will certainly keep everyone informed. Our school is ulising the Department of Educaon provision of increased cleaning on a daily basis. We are very fortunate to have dedicated cleaners in the school during the day to help with our regular hygiene pracces. Our school is commied to ensuring children wash their hands throughout the day and also use hand sanizer in classrooms. A clear message from the Department of Educaon has been that students should not aend school if they are unwell or displaying flu or cold symptoms. If a student develops symptoms of illness and becomes unwell during the day, arrangements will be made for them to be collected from school. We cannot take any chances with this and appreciate your support and understanding. The news around the country is quite encouraging with fewer and fewer cases of COVID-19 presenng so, hopefully, the phased approach will be able to be fast tracked and our usual rounes will be back in place sooner rather than later. In the meanme stay posive, stay healthy and stay connected. Keep smiling, as the light at the end of the tunnel is geng a lile brighter. Have a wonderful week of learning! Learning for all at Morgan Street

Welcome to Week 3 of Term 2. We commence Phase 1 of the Managed Return to School this week. This means that students attend for one day and continue learning at home for the other four days. At this stage we do not know how long this phase will last. The Week 3 and 4 Learning Packs were collected from our hall on Friday afternoon. Changes to the formatting have been made following feedback and hopefully the new packs will be easier to follow. It is wonderful to see the learning taking place at home. Our messaging around this has been consistent, do what you can when you can—we can’t ask for more than that.

There has been no decision to cancel our excursions that are scheduled for the second half of Term 3. Excursions are allowed to occur when schools move to Phase 4. We know these are wonderful aspects of your child’s education journey and we will wait until we have further information on how long the phases will last before cancelling if we have to. We will certainly keep everyone informed. Our school is utilising the Department of Education provision of increased cleaning on a daily basis. We are very fortunate to have dedicated cleaners in the school during the day to help with our regular hygiene practices. Our school is committed to ensuring children wash their hands throughout the day and also use hand sanitizer in classrooms. A clear message from the Department of Education has been that students should not attend school if they are unwell or displaying flu or cold symptoms. If a student develops symptoms of illness and becomes unwell during the day, arrangements will be made for them to be collected from school. We cannot take any chances with this and appreciate your support and understanding. The news around the country is quite encouraging with fewer and fewer cases of COVID-19 presenting so, hopefully, the phased approach will be able to be fast tracked and our usual routines will be back in place sooner rather than later. In the meantime stay positive, stay healthy and stay connected. Keep smiling, as the light at the end of the tunnel is getting a little brighter. Have a wonderful week of learning!
