We commence this term in a similar manner that we finished Term 1. We have the majority of our Morgan Street family engaging in learning at home. In Week 3 we will move to Phase 1 in which students will be able to aend for one day per week. We will designate days and this will be communicated to our families on Friday. Next Monday we will hold a community Zoom meeng to outline the transion to Phase 1 and gather feedback from you as to how the Learning Packs are going and what could be improved. The Zoom meeng details are below and they will be shared out through class Seesaw accounts as well. As is our normal procedures we will be contacng families for students who are unwell at school. To ensure we are adhering to social distancing at drop offs and pick ups we ask that this process occurs quickly. Please enter the school only if you need to, we certainly understand that this may be necessary for younger students. Please discuss with your child the pick up process so that they understand. Our school operaons at the moment are certainly not the first choice for anyone. As a community, Broken Hill has responded well to this health pandemic and we are lucky to have had only two confirmed cases that have now made a full recovery. If we all play our part we will beat this and we can resume our new normal’. Have a wonderful week of learning and stay safe. Thought for the Week: “Change will come our way. Learning for all at Morgan Street

Welcome back to Term 2. We commence this term in a similar manner that we finished Term 1. We have the majority of our Morgan Street family engaging in learning at home. All of our classes at Morgan Street Public School use Seesaw as a learning tool to help stu-

dents and families connect with their teachers. Please keep checking Seesaw daily to keep up-

to-date with your child’s progress and receive important updates from class teachers.

Thanks to those students and families who have engaged online regularly via Seesaw.

If you would like to access eBooks then you can join the Broken Hill City Library online as per the information below. Commencing Wednesday 29/4/20

Course is fully subsidised (free) for Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents that are

residents in NSW (Broken Hill)

Course will be Wednesday evenings 6-9pm for 8 weeks

Course will be delivered “virtually” so you will need to have laptop/PC/Internet at home and

have Microsoft Excel installed

Teacher is Alison Burt and if you choose to enrol she will contact you with information on

how to access the course before commencement
