Youth Summer Mission Trip

The youth will be going on a mission trip to Kentucky July 12 -18. We will be

conducting a VBS at New Hope Baptist Church in West Liberty, KY. Any students

WHAT: JOY Group Outing - Helen Keller Birthplace -Tuscumbia, AL WHEN: Saturday, May 23rd - vans will leave at 6:30 am COST: $5.00 for Senior Adults - This will be an all day outing. Sign up sheets are on the information tables. As all of our trips it is open to

anyone who would like to go! We need to know how many are going by Wednesday, May 20th.

Save the dates! You have 4 more opportunities to attend the Adult VBS study on these Wednesday nights at 6:00 pm…May 13, 20, 27, & June 10! Only 22 more days until VBS!

VBS can’t be put into words!

You must experience the “Piney VBS”! The VBS t-shirts are on sale now at the

church office for $8.00 to $9.00.

A special thank you to all the people who helped decorate, teach,

keep the nursery, lead the children’s choir, brought refreshments,

& stayed late to help undecorate for the VBS planning meeting last

Wed. night. We had a blast! I don’t have enough words to thank

Teachers if you need Piney members to “save anything” for VBS, please

The date for CAMP PINEY is June 15-19. If there are teens wanting to work at Camp Piney, first consideration will be given to those that also volunteered at VBS and attend church regularly! Camp Piney job applications are on info. tables. Deadline to apply to work at Camp Piney is Sunday, May 24.

Camp Piney kids can now register online or paper forms are on both info. tables. Camp is for kids that have completed real kindergarten through 6th grade. Spaces will be limited to kids that can attend all 5 days & will participate in all activities!

We wish Todd Harkins a very Happy Birthday on May 2nd, and

Marlin Eubanks on May 25th! So sorry they were left off the May

birthday calendar!

Come one, come all as we wrap up a fantastic 6 years of Pine Grove MOPS! Thursday,

May 14 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. will be our final meeting where we will hear an inspiring

testimony from Chelsi Agan, mother of 3 year old Dalton Agan. Also this will be our

annual Favorite Things meeting which means you will need to bring THREE (3) of the

SAME favorite thing of yours. It can be ANYTHING! Cleaning product, makeup product,

food/beverage, something you use A LOT that is your FAVORITE!!! Remember, not 3

different things.. 3 of the SAME THING! We will be cleaning out our door

prize inventory so EVERYONE will get at least ONE prize at this meeting!

You don't want to miss this meeting! Childcare space is limited so reserve it

by Wednesday, May 13.
