Ladies Evening Bible Study Hosea: Unfailing Love Changes Everything is a seven-week study by Jennifer Rothschild beginning Thursday, June 11 at 6:00 p.m. in Room D206. The book of Hosea is a deeply personal and passionate love story, yet it's a difficult story. As the account full of harsh judgment unfolds, we find in its midst a rare and pure gem: the tru-est and purest of loves.
Welcome to First Baptist Church! If you are our guest, please take a mo-ment to complete the guest registration attach-ment you will find in your bulletin. After completing, tear at the dotted line and bring to our volunteers at our Information Center. We have a gift there for you. We look forward to meeting you.
This morning, we conclude our series on “Defining Moments.” Since we started this series by con-sidering the defining moment of birth, it seems appropriate to con-clude with the defining moment of our deaths.
We are now only one week away from the beginning of Vacation Bible School. We owe a big “thank you” to everyone who has already volunteered. We need everyone to now be fully engaged not only in praying, but also involved in invit-ing children. All church members can do us a big favor by registering your children in advance.
The youth will participate in their “Spirit Week” this coming week-end. This is a big weekend to kick-off a summer of ministry.
This weekend, as Americans, we remember those who have died in war so we might enjoy the free-doms and livelihood that we expe-rience here in these United States. Pray with me that these sacrifices be not in vain and pray with me for the thousands of men and women who serve us now “in harm’s way.”
From Our Pastor If you are our guest, we have a special gift for you after today’s service. So that we can get to know you better, please fill out both sides of this tear-off section and bring it to the Information Center near the col-umns. We have a gift bag ready for you.
Thank You For Coming
