Imagine a weekend filled with a variety of camp activities for mothers and daughters to do together, including canoeing, crafts, kayaking, outdoor cooking, archery, games, hiking, Bible studies, and more. You can always count on delicious meals, plenty of fun, and good conversations with other moms and daughters, as well as singing around the campfire. When? Join us September 19-21 (Friday evening - 11:00 a.m. Sunday) Who Can Come? The Mother/Daughter Retreat is open to moms and their daughters who are in grades 1-12. If you have more than one daughter, you may choose to have one-on-one time with one child or you can bring them all together for “girl bonding” time. Feel free to invite friends! How Much Does it Cost? Just $95 for a mother/daughter pair. Each additional daughter may attend for $45. The fee includes all meals, activities, and accommodations. However, the Tuck Shop (camp canteen) will be open and you may wish to bring additional money to purchase souvenirs to commemorate your time at camp. Where is Camp Cherith? Camp Cherith is located near Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, about four hours northwest of the Twin Cities. Detailed directions are available at our web site (www.camp-cherith.com). What Should We Bring? Sleeping bag (or sheets and blankets) and pillow, towels and toiletries, Bible, notebook, pen, flashlight, pajamas, swimsuit (optional) and “camp clothes” for all activities. The weather in Minnesota is never predictable so think in layers.
