The ISTblast Pneumatic recovery System MrS500 can be designed to minimize budget impact in a shallow and space saving design and can be easy to install and requires limited maintenance.
The ISTblast Pneumatic recovery System MrS500 can utilize your existing blast and safety equipment. The fundamentals behind an effective Recovery Systems are to recover, recycle and re-use the abrasive.
Please contact one of our specialists in surface treatment.
they will be able to analyze your needs and evaluate all the technical and financial benefits associated with our recovery and recycling systems.
recycling abrasives will enable the user to achieve considerable savings in abrasives consumption while protecting the environment from harmful sandblast dust.
Steel grit abrasives can be recycled and used up to 100 times compared to only on use with the non-recyclable media. The non-recyclable sandblasting abrasives are low in cost but they can only be used for one sandblasting cycle. Because of their fragile molecular structure, they deteriorate quickly while generating harmful sandblasting dust and significantly reduce the visibility of the operators.

Turn on the Main Switch 1
Start the DuST collecTor 2 , the BlaST system 3 and the MrS 4 . Make sure that the level of abrasive in the pressure vessel is maximum 2000 pounds of steel grit.
open the main air supply valve and adjust the air pressure at the inlet of pressure vessel to the desired blasting pressure.
Pressurize the pressure vessels with the control unit by turning the switches to PreSSurIzeD VeSSel #1 & #2 5 . to on. The vessels should pressurize at the blasting pressure already preset. Depending how your are using your blasting process, you can control it by turning on the switches PreSSure 6 for details see the Pressure Vessel Instruction Manual.
The air and the abrasive will come out after the remote signal has been done. wait a few seconds in order for the stream to stabilise. If the amount of abrasive seems insufficient or too important, please make an adjustment. Adjust the amount of abrasive to the nozzle by using the abrasive metering valve PMV186 below the abrasive pressure vessel. After a certain period of sandblasting, pressure vessel will be emptied of its contents, and the jet will consist solely of air. If your sandblasting room floor has a pit partially covering it, it may be that the majority of the abrasive was sprayed othe floor next to the pit. Push all of the abrasive in the pit so that the recovery system can draw the abrasive towards the pressure vessel, and wait until all of the abrasive is transferred to the pressure vessel.
