Which school will your child call MY SCHOOL? DC residents have many public school options. Taking advantage of these choices just got a lot easier. For this coming school year (2014–15), DCPS and most DC public charter schools have a common application and a common lottery. Families can use one application to apply for: • Participating public charter schools (PK3–12) • DCPS out-of-boundary schools (K–12) • All DCPS PK3 and PK4 programs • DCPS specialized high schools (9–12) You do not need to submit an application if your child will remain in his or her current school or attend an in-boundary or feeder-pattern school for K–12. Text MYSCHOOL to 56512 to sign up for reminders about key dates. Message and data rates may apply. The application is available at MySchoolDC.org in the Apply section.
