„I have been leading a project for children with HIV in Kulob in Tajikistan for two months. msf is very well organized with their computer programs, project planning and management instruments. This has really supported my work. In this project we have achieved a good dynamic and done high-quality work in just a short time. The big challenges of our daily work are posed by insu cient knowledge, poverty and the stig-matization of HIV positive people. But for me, this just makes the whole operation even more valuable.“ Omar Gamdullaev / Tajikistan

„I have already worked for msf as a project coordinator in Nigeria and Papua New Guinea, and right now I am managing a project in Myanmar. The work as project co-ordinator is multi-facetted. I am a trained nurse, which enables me to quickly get an overview of the medical program. I am also responsible for the logistic and administra-tive tasks, as well as supporting all colleagues. My greatest task is keeping an eye on security. This depends a lot on how the local population perceive us. In con ict situ-ations this means that a lot of sensitivity is required. I believe that courage, kindness, honesty and a touch of humor makes the world a better place. I want to tell people inneed: 'You have not been forgotten.'“ Isabel Weese / Myanmar
