Among all one of the most demanding one in terms of filtraon efficiency and DHC is AdBlue filtraon in SCR systems. SCR systems are very sensive to contaminaon (small parcles could affect the porosity of the catalyst) and poisoning (some chemicals could destroy the chemistry of the catalyst making it ineffecve), for this reason also the addive used has to be very pure and clean. In order to match the requirements the system has to be provide by a dedicated filter system which could protect all the relevant system component (feed pump, dosing unit and injectors). Saa has developed a dedicated filter media for this applicaon composed by a mul layer system bonded together with a laminaon technology that combine high bonding strength with a small loss of filtraon surface/capacity. The filter media is constuted by three layers: 1. Woven mesh for protecon enhancement. 2. Thick non woven layer for depth filtraon. 3. Thin non woven layer as barrier. Benefits: 1. High filtraon efficiency: increased pro- tecon. 2. High parcle retenon: improved capacity and lifeme duraon 3. High sffness: woven mesh layer grants excellent mechanical properes and an im- proved workability.
