The MULTIX systems weredeveloped in collaboration withan international team of medi-cal professionals who woulduse the end product.

The MULTIX TOP system is thenumber one choice if you re-quire a system to perform fastand simple routine exposuresof the standing, sitting or lyingpatient.

The slim design of the patienttable offers improved access tothe patient from all sides.

Experienced medical staff willsee at first glance what a groupof technical radiologists de-scribed as a system „that wasnot developed by engineers,but was obviously designed incollaboration with medicalstaff!“

A closer look at this system willreveal that all requirementshave been met down to thesmallest detail.

This success-ful develop-ment explainswhy more than1,000 MULTIXsystems weresold in barely2 years.

Our new radiographic systemsoffer features as standardequipment that are hardly avail-able with most other systems.For example, ergonomics, sim-plified operation, hygiene, andradiation protection:

• The table brakes and heightadjustment are controlled viaa footswitch that can be pro-grammed to the user’s likingduring the installation proc-ess.

• All moveable componentsare simple to adjust.

• X-ray tube and Bucky gridmovements are operatedwith one hand.

• Operating controls are arrangedaccording to frequency ofuse.

• The operating elements formovement, collimator light,and tomographic parametersare centrally located.

In addition to the AutomaticCassette Size Sensing(ACSS), and electronictomography (planigraphy),this version also offerssynchronization.

The synchronizationfeature can be selectedfrom the table or from theVERTIX TOP* Bucky wallstand. You select an SID(film focus distance) ofyour choice, choose thesynchronization optionwhich will remain con-stant during table move-ment and height-adjust-ment of the catapultBucky on the Bucky wallstand.

What does this mean foryou? Flexibility and inde-pendence because youonly need to select onedetermined SID.

The synchronization canbe used to work with thecatapult Bucky on the ta-ble as well as free table-top exposures.

When selecting a tomo-graphy program on thesupport arm, the ceilingstand automaticallyselects the programmedSID.

Operation

Ergonomics is a key advantage in hand-ling the catapult Bucky.During the loading of cassettes, thereis always free room, regardless of theformat. This is a new standard in user-friendliness.

Kick switch- at the top of a user’s wishlist. Accidental contact with theswitches by a patient or accompanyingperson is prevented.

The grid can be removed from the cata-pult Bucky on the table and on theBucky wall stand to perform pediatricexams or switch to a different SIDregion.
