Another Successful Donuts for Dads!!!
We would like to thank Andy Bushman, Maggie’s Donut’s,
Sage’s Apples, Katie Baker, Mike and Michelle McGreevy,
Laura Snyder, Amy Schneier, Michelle Meyers, Molly Talcott,
Kerry Willman, Elizabeth Fullerman, Darlene Hough, Mr. Ha-
zen, Mrs. Marcotte, Bryan Ruddersdorff, and Dean Tompkins
for all their hard work. Without their hard work, Donuts with
Dads would not have been such a success!
Steam Museum:
We’d like to thank the following STEAM Museum Volunteers,
Jodi Moll, Dawn Ulrich, Kelly Richards, Shannon Treat,
Michelle McGreevy, Colleen Paterson, Gina Palich, Michelle
Pellegrini, Nicole Wise, and Nick Treat , who helped make this
event so fun and interactive for the kids!

Teacher Meals: Thank you to Ann Budziak and Jen Cline for
planning the teacher meals during teacher conferences.
Penny Wars and Veterans Breakfast:
On Friday, November 9th, the PTO will provide breakfast for 12
Veterans who will also visit the children in their classrooms
throughout the morning. Our thanks to Bob Evans in Chardon
for their contribution towards the breakfast. To go along with
this, the school is holding a Penny Wars that ends on 11/9 to
raise funds for local Veteran's Projects and to also send care
packages to troops overseas. So please send in that spare
change!

Capps Pizza Night 11/12/18:
Please remember to place your Capps Pizza orders on 11/12!
The class with the most orders will win a pizza party! Don't
forget you can order more than just pizza! They also have
great salads, pasta dinners, and even desserts. Don't forget to
tell them your teacher's name when ordering.
Book Fair:
Nicole Wise, Committee Chairperson for Book fair, wishes to
thank all of the book fair volunteers (Kelly Richards, Leslie
Chabot-Rudersdorf, Laura Snyder, Lara Tompkins, Becki
Stonis, Joanna Burkholder, Michelle McGreevy, Jamie Key-
ser, Molly Talcott, Jada Yopp, Amy Schneier, LaShawna
Mackura, Libby Savel, Andrea Clark, Jen Cline, and Michelle
Kuhn) that either helped set up the book fair, or during class
shopping times, at parent conferences or for boxing it all up at
the end. And also, a huge thank you to Mrs. Rohrich for letting
us use the library to host the book fair for a whole week
Chardon goes to the Musicals:
So far there has been a huge demand for tickets through
Chardon Goes to the Musicals. So much positive feed-
back! Thank you for continuing to share the information with
the community. As a reminder, this is not a fundraiser, just an
avenue to allow Charon residents access to the second larg-
est theater district outside of Broadway.
Box Top Class Winner:
Congratulations to Mrs. McClintock’s class!! They turned in
720 box tops and won a movie party! The total box tops col-
lected was 5,914!!! Thank you to all who contributed! Don’t
forget to keep collecting those box tops. There will be another
contest in the Spring.
Helping Hands:
Please help make Christmas sweet for those in need by
choosing from ideas off the board inside the main doors at
Munson school. Wrapped gifts are due by Friday, December
7th. Kindly see the flier in this week’s newsletter for details.

Help Make Christmas Sweet
It’s time to help make Christmas sweet by giving a gift to those in need
this holiday season.
1) Choose a set of Gingerbread Men off the board.
2) Keep one and write your name and phone number on the other.
3) Place the one with your name and phone number in the
envelope and keep the other.
4) Buy and WRAP your gift and return it to school with your tag.
Please send your wrapped gift in by Friday, December 7th.

Box Tops for Education 1. Purchase or check your home for one of the hundreds of products with Box Tops on them. 2. Clip Box Tops from participating products. Every Box Top is worth $0.10. 3. Contests are held throughout the year for collecting Box Tops.

Heinen’s Tasteful Rewards Members As a member of Heinen's Tasteful Rewards™ Program, when you shop at Heinen's you can help area schools through the school donation program. Up to 1% of your qualified purchases during September to April can be donated annually by Heinen's. The Teaming Up for Education Program is a Tasteful Rewards™ membership benefit and enrollment with your email address is required. Members of the Tasteful Rewards Program are required to RE- SELECT their school every year. To select a school you have three choices:

Tyson Project A+
Munson is participating in the Tyson Project A+™ program, a fund-raising program sponsored by Tyson Foods, Inc. Through this program, we can raise up to $12,000 for our school this year! It’s an easy way to raise much needed funds by sending Tyson Project A+ labels from products you probably already buy. Here’s how it works: Just clip and collect Tyson Project A+ labels from participating Tyson® product packages and send them to school with your child. We’ll collect the labels and send them to Tyson.
